We lucked upon Chum's midway through a 12hr car trip...and although we had been discussing flying (instead of driving) in the future, after tasting Chum's hotdogs, we decided we will always drive. Very friendly, the slaw is INCREDIBLE, the fries HOT are perfect, and the corn fritters are dangerously delicious!“
“A hidden gem for a bit to eat! We started off with Brisket Nachos and WOW!! Delicious and disappeared before I could snap a photo. However, I loved the chili on the nachos so well that I ordered a cup and snapped a photo of the nicely presented yumminess!“

“I took my granddaughter there for a Valentines Day dinner. We arrived at about 4:45 pm and ordered our food. My hotdogs were great and the hamburger in the "kids" meal was huge, especially for a 6 year old. My grandaughter saw the banana split and of course I ordered her one. Living out of the Charleston area I didn't realize they closed at 5 pm! They were so nice and gracious! The gal at the counter insisted on making it and stayed over 15 minutes just for my grandaughter to enjoy the dessert. Her first banana split!The best customer service I have ever experienced, and great food to top it off!I have been around the world and can tell you to put this on your list of restaurants when in Charleston. “Absolutely awesome place and food....the decor alone grabbed my attention...then the server topped it off she was just the cutest sweetest lady ever.... food could of sucked and between her and the atmosphere I was in love but the food was amazing...literally walked out floating!!!!“
“I would give 6 stars if I could. The hot dogs are all unique and have something that everyone can enjoy! Atmosphere is great, with a new section just recently added on that offers better convenience options like chips, pop, gum, etc. and very friendly staff. I can’t recommend this place enough if you work in downtown Charleston and need a quick bite to eat.“
