“There was 1 employee who did the first the section and 1 who did the second, ensuring no cross contamination. Both people put the food on carefully and didn’t throw everything in one place. Finally, my husband asked for a chipotle sauce but a different sauce was in the bottle. She noticed immediately (only went to a small part of the sandwich) and offered to remake the sandwich. He said it was okay and just to add the right sauce. She ended up taking the portion with the wrong sauce off and readding the ingredients. Food was delicious!“

“I have visited this shop about a dozen times. I love the fresh food. I have always been greeted and made to feel welcomed, except last night 3/3/21 the girl working acted like it was a bother to wait on me! She was so unfriendly, didn’t say thank you actually she did speak to me at all! I would like the managers to know this. I am not one to complain, I also work with the public. She was just plain rude!!!“

“I’m originally from Seattle and my family originates from Saigon, so i’m very used to having easily accessible Viet restaurants and home cooked food. I work in travel healthcare and chose Charleston, WV and was really worried I wouldn’t find a place close by for some authentic Vietnamese food. WRONG!! This place exceeded my expectations and even has specialty dishes like cà ri gà (chicken coconut yellow curry) BBH(spicy beef noodle soup), hủ tiếu bò kho (beef stew noodle soup) and delicious bánh mì!!! Omg the bánh mì is to die for and their baguettes are so crispy but soft on the inside, flavorful fillings and veggies. Just wish the jalapeños were spicier. Homey ambiance in the restaurant which is all you need. I also got the Hủ tiếu Bò kho and it was FANTASTIC!! All the side veggies satisfied my craving for good texture with the noodles and the beef stew was so flavorful and tasty. I loved my experience here and i’m sooo glad Charleston has a great Viet food spot. Thank the heavens for your business!“

“First time ever in penn station, walked in was greeted with a smile and they were super quick about taking and preparing my order. I got the cheesesteak sub and was unsure about everything mixed together on it, however the blend of flavor was unreal. If you’re looking for something a little higher class than subway definitely check them out“

“First time here, or for that fact, to a Penn Station East Coast Subs. We were pleasantly surprised! The first thing we noticed was that this restaurant was squeaky clean; even the bathrooms! There were two friendly staff that greeted us and gave us some time to look over the nice sandwich menu. I had heard that they had a good beefsteak sub, and I had to try it. My wife had a delicious ham and cheese on a grilled roll with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. She said they threw the ham on the griddle first, and it even beat the Jersey guys sub. My beefsteak had plenty of chopped steak, with some onions, mushrooms, and banana peppers. The cheese was baked into the cut roll first. It made for a delicious meld with the meat. Hands down, they use the best white rolls in the entire area. I found the mushrooms and banana peppers too overbearing every time I hit a bite of one. I will leave them both off the next time. It's too bad they don't offer regular green peppers. The seasoning was good and flavorful, but I always add salt, which I found most restaurants don't use except sparingly. We found that they also offer homemade large cookies at the register counter. We were too full for trying them now. Refills are available on the soda fountain drinks. The soda pop was dispensing with a good amount of syrup and not all club- soda-like and was a refreshing drink.
I would recommend this chain as there's numerous around. This one is next to the Auto Zone parts store behind the local PD Station. Plenty of parking. Check out the photos for an idea how nice this store was.
BTW: I'm on a journey to try beefsteaks in the Charleston area. This one is ranking high. I have many more to try......Mmmmmmm......“

“Went in tonight to get a sub and was greeted by two very friendly girls , Daja and Lexi. Very outstanding work, nice and clean sandwiches. They made them look like the pictures you see on ads !!!“

“I highly recommend going to Subway if they have really good food there which we all know just know what you want when you get there because the girl there rode her eyes at my daughter when my daughter got nervous and didn't want to tell her what she wanted and the girl laughed about it when she wrote her eyes at her I didn't think that was really nice but she made good food just she's bad customer service skills but so good place to go I highly recommend it“

“The poor guy working behind the counter. No one else was working. He had the lunch rush of people standing at the counter waiting to be waited on, plus all the call orders to fill. He was a very nice man. He explained to customers that he would get to them as fast as he could. He was very polite and curiosity. Working to make each customer feel special as he made sandwiches. This store should be proud to have a employee like this gentleman. Sorry I didn't get his name. I was there on Friday December 1, 2023 at 11:45am.“

“I went thru drive thru, and i got fast service, but as usual they got my order wrong, I didn't get my provolone cheese, didn't toast my sandwich, and I asked if the cookies were fresh, and the lady said yes, and she lied, because i could break glass with them, plus they taste old ,and my honey mustard dressing was dripping off of my sandwich ,The last time I went there I said would be the last time and this is definitely going there.“
