The Brussel Sprouts appetizer was delicious and very creative. I loved it.
The Italian Beef was very disappointing. It didn’t have the texture, appearance or taste of an Italian beef. The giardiniera was skimpy.
My waitress Jaime was great. Very attentive, and she let me sample a few beers. I’d stop here again, but I would not order the Italian beef.“

“We were looking for a place to have dinner in this very cold Saturday night and decided to try the "Red Line Diner." It was a great decision. We read the reviews before visiting the restaurant, but our experience there was even better than we expected. Our hostess, this young lady named Dyamond (yes, with a "y), was extremely kind and always checked on us. Their tea was freshly brewed, and she kept refilling our glasses. The food was marvelous as well. If you like melted cheese, the cheese ravioli may make you very happy. :) Our pastas came with salads and toast. I also loved the 50ish, 60ish style decoration. Another thing that truly got my attention was the great music videos being played on their TV. The 90s and early 2000's R&B songs (everything from Mary J. Blige and Mariah Carey to Faith Evans and Leela James) made the night even more special. The music selection truly made me feel like I was having dinner in one of those wonderful diners in New Jersey. Dyamond was the one responsible for the music selection. Thumbs up, young lady! We are definitely coming back because food is not all when one goes out for dinner. It is also about the service and the atmosphere. And, folks, this place got it all.“

“After some shopping, once again, I realized I hadn't eaten anything all day! What can I say, I have a one track mind some days ?! Anyway, went to Google maps to explore restaurants close by and Husson's Pizza popped up only 6 miles away from me. Then it hit me! Both KT and MW recommended them! I was guided there in a matter of minutes!

It was a little after 4p when I got there but I didn't feel like dining in. I loved the fact that their menu board was big and legible before I went to the counter! Brennan greeted me and took my order: Husson's Deluxe 14" and cinnamon bites.
He asked me if I would like banana peppers or jalapenos. I am glad he did! I chose the banana peppers.
I watched as the pizza dough was hand tossed, already a plus for me. In no time my order was ready and back on the road heading home.
It wasn't until I got home that I actually looked at the box. I liked it so much, I took a picture of it. The pizza was scrumptious, crust just right. What surprised me were the cinnamon bites. I didn't realize the order was that big!!! Morning coffee now has an extra addition!!! ?
Why a 14" pizza just for me? Well, I turn into, what I call myself, a "pizza piggy" and pig out on the Italien pies turning myself into an overstuffed green bell pepper that can't move ??!

“I order from this Domino's weekly. I've given them 5 star reviews multiple times and told several people this is the best location in Charleston. Unfortunately, lately, they have been slacking. I don't know if it's new management, new employees or what the issue is but it's unfortunate. I hate leaving negative reviews, having worked in food service for many years, but if there's room for improvement I feel the store should know. I've had either a severe topping shortage, missing toppings all together, to overcooked-almost to the point of burnt - tots, chicken, or pizza. I feel like there's no excuse for missing ingredients; there's literally a check list of what the customer wants in their order. The rule of thumb I always followed when working with others food is make it like you would want it. If you wouldn't be happy receiving the order you're putting out, why are you ok sending it out? I will continue to order from here because they do have a good history, they are close by, and I love some Dominos but just be mindful it might not be up to expectations.“

“Husband had this pizza years ago at a rural location. He completely forgot about it until seeing sign at a different location in another very rural area. I personally have never had it and I'm extremely picky when it comes to pizza. It's one of my favorite foods. Well he suggested I try it because he remembers loving it over a decade ago. So I agreed and got a simple pepperoni pizza and then drove 15 mins home. Only cost $11.99 plus tax for a 12" Pizza which is cheapest pizza I've ever purchased. I had to rewarm it which made me hesitant on the quality. I was totally wrong. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER EATEN. “Great food! Only gripe is the steep parking lot. Our bumper bent inward due to the parking lot. We're lucky it didnt rip off. We had to twist tie it in place. Please get the parking lot fixed. Its not ok and the city needs to take care of it.

“One complaint - We order a Memphis BBQ Chicken pizza (added bacon) and it lacked in every topping except for cheese. We got a lot of cheese, but hardly any BBQ, 8 pieces of chicken (on a large), it was about 1 piece per slice. Very sad about the amount of other toppings. Otherwise I do love Domino's and we ordered during the 50% off pizzas week because we haven't been able to spend on eating out in a while! We are willing to try again next time!“

“Honestly the best pizza place around, not because there Pizza is the best it's good but nothing crazy. What makes this place different is the staff.

The delivery driver drove to me not once, not twice, but 3 times to ensure that we got my son's pizza box.

My son has a few special needs. Basically it meant a lot to him that we supported him by getting him HIS pizza box that he made for a school fundraiser. The delivery driver made damn sure we did too, there were some mixups back at the store which totally makes sense I am sure they were slammed, not complaining, but praising how on what must have been a hectic night the driver and the staff made sure we got that darn box.

We usually get the same driver who drives a truck and is husky not sure his name, but my kids love him. He always is friendly, just a super cool human being.

Anyways just saying that the staff at this store is top notch and if there Upper management does not give them a reward in the next 30 days they should be fired and hire new upper management. Lol halfway joking but I will check in to make sure they got some kudos for making box night a success at least at my house. If you guys did not do anything for them, I will. I will also give them the option to get a new job where they will be appreciated at another local place as I know a good bit of GM's in this area.“

“My husband and I came in today for the first time at the Charleston location. We'd been wanting to try for awhile. We traveled an hour & half. It did not disappoint! “This Little Caesars has the best food and crew. I went through drive thru and got the new pretzel crust pizza and I love it. There are a lot of amazing people that work there. Shout to amazing work and in my opinion, y'all go above and beyond: Jess, Ryan, Alicia, Grace, Pat, Jeremy, Todd, Paul, Shelby and I think that's everyone that's still there that I know. “This place is consistently great. We’ve had nothing but pleasant dining experiences at Abruzzi.

The bread they serve from the Charleston bakery is SO GOOD, especially the olive bread!

We’ve been twice in the last couple of months, had the antipasto appetizer both times. It’s what you expect, sliced meats and cheese, would prefer olives, but the sweet grapes were a nice reprieve from the salty meats. The pickled veggies were really good!

The Prosciutto and Burrata Salad was also good, I would say great but it’s a big salad with a ton of arugula, it needed more dressing for sure. I’m accustomed to a creamier and more buttery burrata, this was a little drier and leaned closer to mozzarella, but still good.

I would say the appetizers and salads are “good”, but the entrees are legit! Recently, we’ve had the lobster ravioli, frutti de mare risotto (basically, seafood risotto), mushroom campanelle and spring carbonara and our family had the chicken parm, crab cakes and Alfredo… they all raved about their plates. I’m convinced you can’t go wrong with any entree.

I have to call out the frutti de mare risotto… the scallops probably rank top 3 I’ve ever had, and that’s insane because this is Charleston, WV, we aren’t near any coastline, that’s for sure. I’ve lived on the Chesapeake bay in MD, on Topsail Island, NC and Savannah, GA. How some chef in Chucktown is cooking better scallops than coastal restaurants in coastal foodie destination cities is beyond me. My only reservation is the portion of seafood to risotto… 2 shrimp and 2 scallops weren’t enough to have a bite of seafood with each bite of risotto, maybe throw in some calamari or clams to round it out.

We make homemade pasta and we do it well, on both a manual Marcato Atlas press and a kitchen-aid pasta press, we know homemade pasta. Once you have tried it you can easily identify it on a plate, it’s texturally different and more flavorful. Abruzzi is definitely making their pasta in house. The texture is divine, and the bite it perfect, every time. Now I need to find a campanelle attachment for our pasta press, it’s such a great shape for sauce to cling to!

There are other local Italian restaurants that serve great food, but Abruzzi does it better.

As a local, here’s my tip… look at the Charleston Dirty Birds schedule and visit when they are out of town, parking is readily available across the street when the team isn’t hosting a home game. If you have to park in the parking garage it’s going to ruin your dinner, urban campers use the stairwells as their personal lavatories.“
