“Food was good, but nothing spectacular. It's very old school "fancy" American/French style classics. I will say the desserts are REALLY good and they do the bananas foster table side, which is fun. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back, it's not worth the price, but still it's good.“

“This was my first time dining at this hidden gem. It may be a little out of the way if you live in or around Charleston but it is worth the drive. I got the special Chicken salad sandwich and a bowel of Chili for 7.99. The sandwich had a good serving of chicken salad served on texas toast. The bowel of chili was an actual bowel of soup. We were given a sample of the lasagna egg roll which was so good we ordered the sample egg rolls. The egg rolls are fresh and thick with a variety of flavors to choose from. You are served such good portion you may have some left over for a snack later or lunch the next day.“

“Absolutely incredible, masterly prepared and delicious menu. We visited the restaurant for the first time during Restaurant Week event. We will most definitely be back. The salmon and steak were perfectly prepared, the sides were just as great. There wasn’t a spec of dessert left as well it was so good. Just a fantastic experience all around.“

“This hidden gem with all homemade food is something all should try! The potato soup was absolutely the very best I've ever had. It wasn't just an ordinary, potato tasting version, but something that was creamy with most delicious seasonings that you could see and enjoy the potatoes in every bite. It was so good that I wanted to slowly savor each and every single bite. Next, I enjoyed a unique tasting, tender beef brisket on a chibata roll. I got a tangy BBQ sauce on the side. Again, the seasonings were different and sooooo good. Everything is made fresh here! You order at the window and a very friendly person calls your name when it's ready. Remember that this is deck seating under umbrella tables, so consider this a fair weather stop or eat in your car like you do at a fast food place.. Look at the photos, and see there is a bench for sitting near the wonderfully smelling tub fireplace just in case you want some heat.Parking is easy right out front. And, plenty of tables. If you are traveling down Rt64, you should get off at exit 58C. It's just a few blocks to here. I'm sure you'll be glad that you did. There were at least 6 workers ordering lunch when I got there this day. Several more people showed up, too. No waiting in line. Just order, sit down, and in a few minutes, you're called to pick up.The menu has brisket, and also chicken and shrimp dishes, and even fresh made empenada's. I understand the Mac n cheese is supposed to be the best anywhere. Mmmmmmm.....I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. I think I'll go there for lunch today. You should, too, as I highly recommend this unusual BBQ stop.“

“My sister and I were in St Albans for my Dad's 80th birthday party Saturday and Sunday we wanted to go watch The Browns game so we ended up at Drummys and I am so glad we did!! The patrons were super friendly as were the staff and I was pleasantly surprised by several other Browns fans being there. We ordered a hotdog with coleslaw, it was very good but a very small dog. Really the only negative about the place was the high drink prices. The waitress said the bar is charged a lot for the liquor so I guess that's understandable. We had a great time there and if I lived there, I'd be a regular customer as it seemed everyone there was!“

“Love this place! My grandma lives in Charleston and we always come here when we visit:) When I was in elementary school I yelled "This is the best hotdog I've ever had" leaving the busy restaurant and now as an adult I've learned the rest of the menu is just as good! Worth the visit!!!“

“So I've always heard the term "greasy spoon" applied to small, (usually) family-run, restaurants that serve good, comfort food to local clientele. I don't know if The Grill is "family-run", but it IS small, it DOES serve good, comfort food, and it seemed most of the customers were locals. This place is a leteral hole-in-the-wall, blink-and-you'll-miss-it, eatery. It could be neater or fancier, but that's not what's important at The Grill. Instead, food and friendliness is the name of the game. (They even use paper plates for some orders, but who cares what the plates are made of - I'm not gonna eat those!) I had the fried balogna sandwich with an order of fries. The server said I would be getting a plate of fries... and she wasn't kidding! Everything tasted great. I say give The Grill a try!“

“The place itself was very clean. Had a warm and inviting atmosphere to it. The bar tenders were very friendly and helpful. We went on trivia night on accident, and just sat and enjoyed the experience. I would 100% recommend this place. The food and drinks were all really good. My boyfriend and I shared the chicken bacon yum pizza, a pretzel, and a Buffalo chicken dip. We also goy the sleigh it ain't snow drink and it was 10/10.“

“Had lunch here to include burgers and fries. The burgers appeared to be hand pattied, lean ground beef. They were a tad bit overcooked, leaving them a little dry, but still very good. But, where else can you get a burger, fries, and coke for about $7?They also offer hot dogs, fish sandwich, onion rings, amongst others. This is more of a bar setting with food so if you have kids, it may not be the best place for you.The crowd was friendly, with all the regulars passing through for lunch and beer.Overall, it was a good experience and would eat here again when in the area.“

“Very friendly staff who work hard to get your order out fast and correct. Old school interior that's quite home-y. It's a fine place to get breakfast or lunch.Parking: A bunch of spots. Skip the drive thru, take some time, and savor your meal. It's worth it“
“We enjoyed our lunch at Eagles Nest today. We had the buffet that offered country fried steak and a spicy chicken dish (they change daily), alongside roasted potatoes, fresh green beans, dinner rolls, fresh salads, and various dessert items. The fried steak was very tasty, the beans tasted like grandma used to make, and the salads were extremely fresh. The star of the meal was the exceptional service. Each of the wait staff stopped by our table, at one point during our meal, to ask if anything was needed.“

“Went last night for dinner. Very very good . Really 5 star clean , great meal . Had a salad, rolls tea, steak, baked potato, real butter served. First time in a long time to go there. Fair priced in the restaurant market for what you get today. Go try it I think you will like it.“

“I found this place to be delightful. I don’t like to just review bad places so here we go.The bad:The kitchen was slow but I also understand that one man had 7 orders. It’s to be expected. That’s it. That’s all the bad.The good:The bartender was super friendly and lively. It’s hard to screw up a vodka cranberry, but they hit the spot. The fries…. Let me tell you. I enjoyed the absolute hell outta those pillowy potato sticks of goodness.I ordered a quesadilla and asked if they could go off menu and add the bang bang shrimp to the quesadilla. It was exactly what I expected. Delicious and filling.I will definitely be back :)“

“We stopped at Tudor's in Nitro on a cross country drive. Food was good, but the service was outstanding. We ordered BLTs that were satisfying- better than stopping for another burger. I left my purse there and didn't realize it until we were in Indiana (over 200 miles away). After confirming that it was my purse, they shipped it back to me. They were so kind and helpful. When we are back in WV, we will definitely eat here again.“

“Service was awful. Waitress Elizabeth didn't bring our food. She asked if we wanted refills, then never brought them when we said yes. She acted as is she didn't want to be there. We spoke with the manager and the manager said she would have a talk with her. Good food poor service.“

“My wife and I went with our daughter and son-in-law, promising them lunch for bringing us something to Charleston that we forgot when we left Logan. It was a great choice! I haven't eaten at Texas Roadhouse in a long time and forgot how good it is.First, it was a busy Saturday afternoon but we didn't have to wait long, only about five minutes. Our server came quickly and we ordered drinks and an appetizer and the appetizer was super quick, arriving before our drinks. We got the fried pickles which were delicious and plenty for the four of us.Three of us got salads which came pretty soon after finishing our appetizer. The salads were basic but good, everything seemed fresh. My son-in-law and I got steaks and they were both pretty much cooked to order (though mine was missing the strip of pink inside that usually comes with a medium-well steak). We both had sirloin and both were tasty enough to not need any steak sauce or other toppings. My wife got some kind of chicken with cheese and mushrooms and my daughter got shrimp (at a steakhouse, right?) which they both said were very good.My steak fries were tasty, my son-in-law's baked sweet potato and my wife's baked potato were both a good size and good. The complimentary bread was warm and kept coming. Our server was always there when we needed him, with more bread and drink refills. The price was on the higher side, about $90 for the four of us, but the quality food and service made it worth it.Sorry, no pictures. We were too hungry and just dove in!“

“Food was good. Cashier was distracted with side work for a long time before she took our order. Order was wrong, but we ate it anyway and it was good. We tried to eat inside, but there was a strong odor of sewer coming from the bathroom, so we ate in our car. The one in Marietta Ohio was 1000 percent better. I don't recommend this location.“
