“My wife and I have eaten at the Dog Haus for years. The owner and employees treat us like family. The food, including desserts, is homemade and very delicious. Ribs are excellent. It’s your fault if you leave hungry, cause portions are generous. Overall a great place to have lunch or dinner.“

“I am not a typical bar person. I was looking for the best restaurants in Parkersburg and this place was towards the top of the list. I looked over the menu and was surprised at how many different options they had. I had the thick cut bologna sandwich. Wow, when they say thick cut, they mean thick cut. It was atleast a quarter of an inch thick. The downside was that it was just the sandwich. There were no sides. I this was a shame because the sandwich itself was over $7. But, I could not complain too much because it was very good. The sides are extra, but they come in huge portions to share with the whole table. I was in a group of 6 adults. The wedges were more than enough for everyone. Our waitress was great and was helpful with the menu. Some of the menu was a little hard to navigate, but she was great in explaining everything.“

“Had a great time at Parkersburg Brewing Co.! The wings were top-notch—perfectly cooked and flavorful. The grapefruit IPA was a standout as well, with a nice mix of juicy citrus and traditional hoppy flavors. Liked it so much I grabbed a 6-pack to go. Definitely a must-visit for those who appreciate quality brews and good eats!“

“We celebrated my sister's birthday at The Polo Club on May 29th, 2024. Service was excellent. Food delicious. Bartender amazing. Now this is not on their menu but they have a drink called Nuts and Berries that reminded me of something nostalgic like berry sorbet ice cream, except this has booze. With Gene back, the good menu is back with creative burgers, embellished hot dogs, big steaks the other brothers cannot deny, and a bunch of deep fried comfort appetizers. We enjoyed cocktails, dollar wings and dollar ribs at the restaurant, but then I brought home carryout burgers and butt fries and ate my feast in front of a movie. Note: they have the good ranch.“

“This is definitely one of the better BKs. The service is great, and they have never messed up my order. I'm going to guess the manager has higher standards for her team, and it shows and is much appreciated.

Vegetarian options: You can order anything without meat and the breakfast burritos are pretty great.“

“I work a lot and recently started a keto diet and it's hard to just run thru somewhere and get decent food for a diet. Usually I get a couple big macs without the bun and when I get it there's hardly any lettuce or anything on the meat. Just wanna shout to to the crew working this evening for making it the best way I've ever had it was an actual salad. Thank you guys“

“It's Hardee's. I always sort of enjoy Hardee's and at the same time am slightly disappointed. They seem to spring up like weeds in odd places where the major fast food chains aren't.

Maybe part of the appeal is that they are kinda rare, even in a big city like Columbus. I do remember enjoying their thick burgers, and I think they were at the forefront of that trend. However, they don't seen to have that same emphasis these days, and maybe not the same quality as all chains compete for the lowest cost options and cut corners.“

“The wings were good, especially dipped in teriyaki sauce. They offered several to try. I also liked the ranch dip with celery sticks. My friend really liked her parmesan fries, and my favorite are the funnel fries. My friend ate the 6 hot-honey-garlic fries, and took home 4 garlicky parm fries . She liked everything on her plate. We both really liked the Funnel fries with chocolate dipping sauce. Overall I was pleased with the food, and my Virgin Daquiri Strawberry. I will go back there again.“
