I am giving this two stars because the front desk was friendly, customer service in the end, and overall housekeeping (except sheer curtains that could've been easily washed). Definitely would not stay there again under current circumstances and in fact had to leave early. They were accommodating in that regard. I recently reserved a number of rooms here for a family event. There are not many large hotel choices in the area and I found this to be the best of what was available. It is a very large hotel, originally built as a Holiday Inn. The lobby and other common areas are spacious and the breakfast room where we ate the included breakfast, is large, comfortable, clean and well kept. Room and bed were comfortable and clean. Good water pressure in shower. It's being renovated so there was some clutter but it's to be understood. Renovation also closed the restaurant, bar and pool but we weren't there to swim and with Tom's Carryout in town with the best hot dogs ever and a Tudors Biscuit World nearby, we didn't mind the restaurant being closed. Staff was polite and helpful. We felt like we were the only ones there sometimes but still felt safe and secure.
