“Was very pleasantly surprised....defiantly Not a bad burger. We are always in search of a good cheeseburger. I had passed this place for years, but not anymore. I usually drive to Neaders in Marietta for the best burger in the area, but the tasty freeze is only 5 minutes away. Just normal, friendly people and a darn good burger. Defiantly worth stopping in and giving them a try.Stay safe and be kind to one another.”

“[[Sat.9.Dec.2023 @ 2pm]]Today was out & about traveling thru out Ohio doing Geo Earth Cache, i ended up in Sardis OH due Geocache Earth location had me going to the Aquifer Pump Gazebo in center of intersection out from Marv’s Place, had to answer few questions abt the Aquifer and one was the Temp of water coming up from Aquifer but i had no thermometer so, i thought hmm ill go over to Marv’s and see if could lone me one for few minutes and they did, want to throw Big Thank You out to Marv’s Place for the help and for the Delicious hot coffee.”

“Had a great ham, turkey, and bacon club. The sandwich was outstanding, prepared with fresh ingredients and lightly toasted to perfection. The ambiance is very cozy in the coffee area. There is also brick oven pizza on the rear veranda, Thursday thru Saturday, as well as a pub in the basement with a full selection of beer and drink. Based on the sub I had I would suggest this place, and will update as I try other fair.”

“This restaurant is an essential breakfast stop for me when I'm in SE Ohio. The food is prepared with care and the view of the Ohio river is lovely. My friends and I enjoyed it much more than eating at a chain restaurant. We skipped the free breakfast at our hotel in Zanesville and rode almost 2 hours to go to the Riverview. We did the same thing the next day. Staff members are very friendly. One even helped us plan a motorcycle ride in West Virginia when she saw us checking out a map. In spite of its location adjacent to the Sisterville ferry, the unprepossessing exterior of the place is an effective deterrent to stopping in for a meal. That and a lack of welcoming signage means visitors to the area will pass by, unaware of the charm of the place.”

“I stop at Jenkins sub express today . If u like prime rib today's your day. Great prime rib ,very generous portions slite smoky flavor. Large baked potato..fresh salad and drink and dessert. All for $20 .it was great.”

“Excellent food and I love the train theme. Great service and your food comes very quickly. They have a Senior's menu section which is very reasonable.My mom got mashed potatoes and gravy with green beans and chicken tenders. It was a very large helping.Some cigarette smell from the casino but we moved around the corner and it was fine.If you're there, you've got to order a piece of blackberry cobbler with ice cream. It was enough to share 4 ways.Parking: Parking was easy right off the street.”

“The new Mac and cheese bowl is definitely worth stopping in for. This store is fairly slow and not the friendliest but it's all serious business. The Mac and cheese bowl is quite yummy but at 7$ its a bit much for all the more you get. I can still see the bottom of the bowl so a decent value would be no more than 4 or 5$.”

“90 % of the time the staff is amazing food is great and the service is quick but on days like today when a certain person is working it's completely crazy she doesn't help her fellow Co worker and spends more time sitting at a table with her son who has his personal stuff strung all over or she is yelling at him as he runs around the store. So all in all the store as a hole is great but if the worker with the tattoo on her neck is there expect a kid sitting in the restaurant with stuff everywhere or he will be running around and the employees will be distracted causing service to be very slow”

“I’m a truck driver that ran out of time at a shipper in friendly. Being hungry, tired and unable to go anywhere, I chanced to give this restaurant a call and I’m glad I did.I order a stuffed crust Pepperoni and mushroom pizza, and they delivered it right to my truck in like 20minutes. The pizza was hot, fresh, delicious, and tasted like it was made from scratch. Way better than many places I’ve been to Across the US. Since this is a location I frequent, I’ll be sure to order from here again and Inform my fellow drivers of this restaurant.”

“Went here on a Sunday and had their food bar, excellent apple dessert. Plenty to choose from on the hot and cold sides. Potato salad and pea salad had too much mayo for me but was lots else to eat. All was fresh and full. Did get really good onion rings with a BLT at the table too.”
