“My dad introduced me to this pizza in 1970. Back then it was called Pizzaria Italia. Same owner today. It is still my “go to” pizza. The owner came over from Italy and trained in New York City back in the 1960’s. When my dad died in 2014, Al came to my dad’s funeral and provided us with free pizza for the reception. Great family as well as pizza.“

“I’ve never had a bad pizza at Pies & Pints. Whenever I’m close to one, I’m there. Salads are amazing as well. If you love root beer, I recommend having a glass as well.“

“If you want some real NY style pizza this is the place to be! Plus the cheese steak is probably the best I’ve had here! you can it’s fresh ingredients not some bs! And the sandwich of the day deal is just out of this world, in a time where it’s hard to get anything good for $20 they give you 2 foot long sandwiches it’s just amazing. Plus the staff is friendly and welcoming I’ve been recommend it to everyone at the power plant I’m in town working at!“

“I went there with family for my nephews 12th birthday party. His dad ordered the pizzas ahead of time and so by the time we were ready for the pizzas they were delivered. The pizzas were very tasty. I had the all meat with green peppers and it had plenty of toppings. The crust was just the right thickness, especially since I don’t care for super thick crust. There’s only one ladies restroom and one men’s restroom, but for the size of the place I think that was OK. The highlight for me was seeing the super large pizza that they have. I kind of wanted one just for the picture! I think he said it was a 32 inch and it had 52 slices so as to serve 26 people. I will try that next time for sure!“

“Great experience. My husband got the tomahawk steak. Delicious, cooked to perfection. Moist. No steak sauce needed. He was able to eat about half. Heated up next day to make a delicious steak salad. I had the cod which also was great. Service was good. Will go back soon.“

“Good really cheap pizzas and more, especially with rising cost of everything these days. I used to think of it as a cheaper tasting pizza but either they started making them better or I've grown accustomed to them because they rival even the priciest of bigger chains.“

“I love little ceasars but the kitchen door was open and I saw the guy making the pizzas touch the pizza without gloves. Multiple people’s pizza in fact. And then saw another guy hitting his vape plain as day right in the door way by the food. Listen I’ve worked at McDonald’s… I get it.. but with the door open? And you make eye contact and everything?!!! That’s crazyyy.“

“We stumbled across Old School Pizzeria today. It's like walking into Grandma's kitchen! Service was friendly and the food was amazing. The owner gave us some history of the old school building and she was very welcoming, we chatted throughout our meal! We started with a pan of cheese bread with the homemade garlic butter and marinara, after eating 1/2 the pan our pizza arrived. And let me tell you..Absolutely fantastic! Family recipes past down and turned into the best pizza we have found in WV. Even though it's quite a drive for us we will definitely be back!!! And bringing friends next time!!!!“
