“We were looking for a place to have dinner in this very cold Saturday night and decided to try the "Red Line Diner." It was a great decision. We read the reviews before visiting the restaurant, but our experience there was even better than we expected. Our hostess, this young lady named Dyamond (yes, with a "y), was extremely kind and always checked on us. Their tea was freshly brewed, and she kept refilling our glasses. The food was marvelous as well. If you like melted cheese, the cheese ravioli may make you very happy. :) Our pastas came with salads and toast. I also loved the 50ish, 60ish style decoration. Another thing that truly got my attention was the great music videos being played on their TV. The 90s and early 2000's R&B songs (everything from Mary J. Blige and Mariah Carey to Faith Evans and Leela James) made the night even more special. The music selection truly made me feel like I was having dinner in one of those wonderful diners in New Jersey. Dyamond was the one responsible for the music selection. Thumbs up, young lady! We are definitely coming back because food is not all when one goes out for dinner. It is also about the service and the atmosphere. And, folks, this place got it all.“

“Best pizza in the area in my humble opinion. Consistently good. Always ready fast and cooked to perfection exactly as I've ordered it. My pizza is always correct. Once I was missing a ranch dip but I noticed minutes away and they quickly rectified it. I haven't gotten pizza anywhere else in town since I tried theirs after a couple bad experiences at Gino's in Eleanor. They are reasonably priced and have great family deals.“

“It was our first time visiting Bubbarino’s Bites & Bubbles. The parking area was nearly full, but so glad we found a spot and came in for lunch.

My wife and I were quickly greeted and was told we could set anywhere we would like. We were then greeted by our hostess Haley. Extremely nice and welcoming. She said she really enjoys working there and said that the food was great. So she gave us menus and took our drink orders. We had our drinks within the minute.

My wife ordered the Honey Jalapeno Burger. It came with free Fries. I ordered the 12 piece Bone-In Wings. I wanted them with the Sweet Thai Chili sauce. Haley had told us earlier that the wings were part of the daily special for Wednesday. 50% off. What a great deal.

We had told Haley this was our first visit to this establishment. A couple of minutes later, Eddie walked over and introduced himself and was thrilled to have us here today. He told us that what we ordered was some of the restaurant’s best sellers.

I would say within 10 minutes we both had our meals on the table. We have a habit between ourselves to share our meals with each other. So we split the burger and wings and commenced to eat.

The Honey Jalapeno Burger was so juicy and a little messy, but in a great way. It’s been a long time I’ve had a restaurant burger so juicy. Lots of flavor, texture and fresh combination of garden vegetables, ie, lettuce, onion, tomato. Possibly one of the best burgers I’ve eaten in a number of years. Cooked to near perfection. Awesome job to the one on the grill. The fries were well seasoned, crispy and hot. Terrific combo.

Then I tried those wings. Deep crispy exterior and hot, tender inside. Plus, the Sweet Thai Chili was a very good choice for flavor. Again, I’ve eaten many wings over the years, but I’m going to have to put them in the near top of best ever. Again, your chef/cook/grilling champ needs to be brought out and given a standing ovation every now and then.

Putnam County and Hurricane WV has got one of the best businesses in the area. I told Eddie before we left, that they now have two new customers.

If anyone reads my comments, please make every effort to stop by and spend some time at Bubbarino’s. You will not regret it.

“Great food! Only gripe is the steep parking lot. Our bumper bent inward due to the parking lot. We're lucky it didnt rip off. We had to twist tie it in place. Please get the parking lot fixed. Its not ok and the city needs to take care of it.

Parking: Parking is extremely steep and gritty. Stear clear if your car sits low.“

“I was on my way to Michigan and stopped by this place on the way. While ordering they were having trouble with their system but decided to take care of 2 hungry kids and a hungry dad. I ordered the chicken salad and ordered pasta with sauce on the side, 2 meatballs, and also got some garlic bread. The food was perfect. On my way out, I asked how I could pay and the lady behind the counter said “It’s on me.” I don’t take that lightly and could be more appreciative of the gesture. “I got the hotdog with pulled pork snd slaw it was the best hotdog i ever ate hsnds down. I was skeptical since i never had ine with pirk on it. But it was excellent. 10 out of 10. My girlfriend had the brisket she said was excellent slso. Were not ines to complain on most things . Its not a ritzy snobby restaurant its a local laid back cozy place to eat.
