Alma Bea offers an exceptional dining experience with its Appalachian-inspired tapas-style dishes. The restaurant is known for its delicious homemade local cuisine, including mouth-watering crab cakes, fried green tomatoes, and tender brisket with black-eyed pea cola sauce. Visitors can also enjoy the restaurant's creative signature drinks, named after The Golden Girls. Customers praise the signature herb and corn bread, and the seasonal crumble with vanilla ice cream for dessert. The chef is praised as a genius, creating dishes with layers of deep, full flavors that provide an emotional experience. The friendly and knowledgeable staff provide attentive service and make recommendations to guide diners through the menu, which changes regularly. With its warm, rustic-country atmosphere, beautiful gardens, and outstanding cuisine, Alma Bea is a must-visit destination in West Virginia.
