“When traveling I like to try local places when able. I’ve found myself in Wheeling to photograph the Cathedral. Anyway, I stopped in for dinner, was seated quickly and water received immediately. I kept it simple and just had the burger with fries. It was cooked perfectly and arrived pretty quickly. (This place is not a burger joint, the have options, such as lamb for example.) Chelsey was my server, she did great as well. Would definitely return if I found myself in Wheeling again!“
“UPDATE: I contacted the owner today and explained what happened. The owner apologized several times and assured me that is not the way they treat their customers. The fact that the owner immediately returned my call and not only took the time to hear my complaint, but also actually listened, tells me all I need to know. Original Review: I have been eating at Coleman's Fish Market my entire life. It's one of my favorite places to eat. With that being said, today I was stunned. Yesterday I drove to the fish market. I live an hour away. I received my order at 2:50 p.m. I made a few stops on my way home and arrived home around 5:00. I unpacked my fish order for dinner and saw the 7 packets of tartar sauce I ordered and paid for were missing. Things happen, no big deal. I then packed the food back up and put it in the refrigerator and made a frozen pizza until I could get tartar sauce. At 5:40 last night I called the fish market to let them know what happened. There was no answer, so I assumed they were busy or closed. Today I decided to make the hour drive again to get the tartar packets. I live an hour from Walmart as well, so figured I would go get the ones from Coleman's that I didn't get yesterday as I wanted to eat my Coleman's Fish from yesterday. When I walked in, I motioned for a gentleman behind the counter and explained what happened. I handed him my receipt. I expected he would just hand me the 7 tartar packets ($1.40). He immediately became completely irritated. He kept saying "did you phone it in"? I wasn't sure what he meant. I told him I placed my order at the counter yesterday and picked it up. I pointed out the gentleman that took my order and the one that I paid for my order. The way he was acting any other female would have cried and left. He then went and consulted with three ladies. Yes, consulted over $1.40 tartar packets on a $63.60 order from yesterday in which he had the receipt I handed him. I said I don't understand what the problem is. He said to me, "you have to call it in so we can put it in the book because we don't know if you're lying". Seriously? I understand policies, but I had my receipt from yesterday and did try to call. I even pointed out the two gentlemen that handled my order yesterday. I explained again it was 2 hours round trip yesterday and today and I wasnt aware the tartar was missing until 5:00 and did try to call. He acted and spoke completely in an unacceptable manner given the very small situatuon. He finally gave me the tartar packets after trying to embarrass me and belittle me, as well as treating me like a tartar packet thief lol. No apology for my trouble or sorry this happened. He was clearly convinced that I created the problem by not being in "the book". If anyone should have been upset it should have been me. I can see if I said I was missing the five fish sandwiches, or the egg rolls, or the devil crabs, but seriously, trying to steal tartar sauce. Get a grip and try to be nice!“

“Great spot to grab a cold one and view the Ohio River. Went at sunset and it was beautiful. Chill ambiance, great bartender. Next time, I'll have to grab a bite. Food looked good but I was only there for a brew or two this time. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Moundsville!“

“This is the first time that we've visited Route 88 Burgers and Brew during the summer. The food, as always, was delicious, but this time we sat outside. Oglebay is beautiful and peaceful. A few people were enjoying the driving range and the par 3 golf. A few were also around the fire pit. There are plenty of picnic tables and benches. Oglebay has also installed a bar area with seating on the deck for customers to enjoy.“

“This week I took my high school aged class to Oglebay Resort for a field trip. We took this same trip last year and had lunch at generations outside on the deck. This year when we returned all they asked for was dinner at generations. A quick search showed me that it was trivia night. There was NO WAY I was taking 20 teenage girls there during trivia!! 🤣🤣🤣 They were more than happy when I said we could order take out! I felt awful calling to order food for 22 people during trivia. I wish I could remember who I spoke with, she was sweet, happy, and pleasant! She didn’t seem phased or bothered by my huge order! When we completed to order she read everything back to me and it was perfect! She then replied with “give us 25 minutes and we will have everything ready” I couldn’t believe it!! 25 minutes for alllll that food!! I went to pick up our order and sure enough it was ready!! She helped me carry all the bags to my car, still smiling and sweet as ever! I thanked her and was on my way back to the resort! The kids all got their dinner from Generations and everything was perfect! Not one order had a mistake! Our food was amazing and perfect!! Thank you!! You all are amazing!! My class will hopefully see you again next year! I will see you again soon!! You are definitely one of our all time favorites!“
