“Went here for a birthday Sunday brunch. The food was great. Highly recommend the avocado toast! However, the service was very slow and something was happening with the staff that made everyone edgy. We heard f-bombs from the kitchen and the bartender swearing at the manager complaining about their system being down. Overall, worth the trip for the food but the service and vibe were off and it put a damper on what we hoped would’ve been a nice way to start a birthday.“

“Stopped by today for lunch. Was VERY impressed. Im very picky about my tacos and prefer the more authentic ones. This place NAILED it! I also got the tamale they had on special, again the NAILED it! Tamales that good should make the regular menu or just have them as a weekly 2 day special. The service was excellent as well. The hot salsa she provided lived up to the "hot" end of things for sure. 10/10 recommend this place! Would love to see lingua on the menu as well as beef cheek tacos! Im not a small guy, but 2 tacos and 1 tamale filled me up pretty well.“

“This is our favorite Alddin’s location in Pittsburgh. The food is always delicious; kibbe, beef kafta rolls, Aladdin’s favorite combo, and baba gannouj are our usual picks. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. It’s easy for us to get to and has a parking garage across the street for easy parking. We have made friends with some of the staff and always love dining in. I originally thought we would have 20 people, but it was more like 25. We are a big, noisy family and they were wonderful! The food and drinks were amazing! Our waitress, Morgan, was exceptional! “This is my review from Yelp for the new CASTLE SHANNON LOCATION. The pizza pops! I mean that in a great way and wanted to start the review out by saying so. I was excited when I saw the 'coming soon' sign. I've never had their pizza before but looking at the website, the pictures were enticing. I even called the number for the CS location. I got Greg who was in there doing last minute stuff. He told me when they were opening, he was really nice about it. So let's get to the pizza, shall we? It's square. The crust is light, crispy and flavorful. The sauce is ZEE best (See how I did that there). I love square pizza and I go to other areas to get it because we haven't had good square pizza since Jim's back in the early 90s. Now we have Jimmy Z's and I couldn't be more thrilled. Having grown up in the city, it was a staple and a treat to go to another pizza place. I won't say the name, but it sounds like Leedos. Where they have square pizza and cold cheese on top. I would go there despite the numerous times they were out of pizza (Yep no lie) and the staff just needs to attend "Sunshine is Us' school of customer service. But I put moody teens aside and trudged there. Now, no more. I don't have to. I get better pizza from Jimmy Z's and ... and I get service with a smile. They are so polite and welcoming. I also tried one of their Zoagies. If you get one, get it with everything. They're absolutely ZEElicous. When I find a place I like, I am like an old faithful dog. These people are gonna get tired of me.“

The new staff was friendly polite smiling just a total different atmosphere walking in the door. The food was good and fast, didn't have to wait very long. There is indoor seating not alot but enough to grab a quick bite. The shop is easily found but parking can be difficult to do at times. Overall im happy with the food and the staff we encountered and would go back again.“

“Our visit was on 3/14. We were waited on right away, but things started to go sideways from there. First off, the wooden tables are GROSS! The finish is coming off and they’re real sticky, honestly, I didn’t want to even put my elbows on it!

When the food came, they forgot my friends fries, but they fixed it. The food was good, I will say that. Then the check came! My check was wrong, they tried to charge me for a drink that was part of the deal, the manager fixed it. Some excuse about splitting a check that made no sense. Then my friends credit card came back…. In theory! The waitress gave him someone else’s check back along with someone else’s credit card! They had to look around the tables to find his card and then give back whose ever credit card that he had.

Over all, the food was good, the service was not so good, the atmosphere was REALLY LOUD! My ears are still ringing as I write this.“

“As I write this (nov. 15th), this location has literally only been open for one week, so please keep that in mind when you read other reviews referring to the wait time. And yes -- they were slammed all weekend of their opening week, for that reason alone, I felt as though they kept up with the demand the best way anyone could, although very very long, at least the line kept moving, that is more than I can say about a lot of fast food places that struggle with slow service. I feel as though given the circumstances, wait times (especially indoor) have not been entirely too bad and we have eaten it quite a few times already. Can't speak too much about any other menu items, but as far as friend food is concerned, it's always been fresh/hot and crispy. No complaints whatsoever! I understand there is nothing more frustrating than when your order is wrong at a fast food joint -- but please, people, give them more than a week to iron at the kinks or become well oiled! *referring to any reviews that happened before this one -- aka within their first week of business* Happy to have them in the area and really hoping it stays the nice establishment that it is!!! I recommend for anyone who is a LJS's fan! Welcome to the area!!“
