“Stella is a chef extraordinaire! We picked Stella's randomly on our way up to Jackson figuring this would be your typical subpar country diner. WE WERE WRONG! We ordered the Stella burger and the French dip and were BLOWN AWAY how amazing it was. The French dip was by far the best and most delicious French Dip we've ever had - and we have had a lot of these sandwiches from "fine dining" places and they could not compare to Stella's. Everything was seasoned to perfection and the meat was tender with a bit of crispy edges for texture. Not the wet meat stack you're used to with a French Dip. The burger was thoughtfully composed with perfectly sautéed mushrooms and a delicious aioli. Not to mention all the bread is homemade! The ambiance gives you the feel of a small time bar but the food was top notch and could compete with any of the fancy restaurant in Jackson. We will for sure be coming back.“

“We made the trip from Idaho Falls just for a one night getaway to stay in a hotel with a restaurant downstairs and bar. We really enjoyed the room, super nicely decorated. We were disappointed to see the restaurant downstairs and breakfast in the morning were both closed via a note on the door (a website or booking notification would have been nice) it kind of ruined the whole purpose of the trip, since we had to eat elsewhere for everything. We did enjoy the bar that evening, although the service could have been better. Would probably try this place again since other than the closures, we enjoyed the facility. Overall would have been a great value!Walkability: Walkable to downtown restaurantsFood & drinks: The restaurant was closed via a note on the door. Looked super cute but unable to try it. The breakfast was also closed in the morning without warning (between the opening hours)Bar was nice, had pool tables and slot machines. Drinks were a great value! No cocktail menu but we were able to order what we asked for.“

“This is one bar I really enjoy. I have said this too many times? But it is worth mentioning it again/ You might walk in alone but you leave with so many friends. It is a great place to hang out and if you are a single woman, you do not have to worry about anyone bothering you. Let me tell you!! They have the BEST chili cheese hot dogs too. AND They are free too!!!! They serve them every Sunday. My experience has been they serve the most wonderful Margaritas!! I would go so far to say the best in Afton too. I have tried the other places but I keep saying the Cowboy Bar has the best. Everyone there is so heartwarming. I like all the bartenders there they are all so great. My favorite is Kirsti. Well, I thank y'all for taking the time reading my book!! As you can tell by now there are not enough things to say about this wonderful place. If in the area please stop by. Y'all will not be dissapointed!!“

“Great experience here, cozy booths with antique lighting you can dim your own light over your dinner if you please, cool western decor. Service was great considering how hard it is to get staff these days. Filet was delish and seasoned and cooked to perfection (crispy outside juicy and tender inside) Only disappointment was the dessert I really think it was frozen out of a box, I've had many a cheesecake to know the difference in texture and taste. But still I would not fault them much given the pandemic scenario. After dinner go have drinks in the historical and highly entertainign hotel bar. Great night out.“
