“During the day, this is a good place for lunch; however, it can be bright, busy, and distracting with people stomping around in their ski boots and ordering drinks at the window. In contrast, dinner here becomes a relaxed yet refined experience enhanced by excellent service and a delicious, interesting menu. An added bonus is watching the snowcats start their evening rounds through the picture windows while sitting by the fire, enjoying a cocktail. Our favorite restaurant for a special evening - it's worth the drive up from the valley.“
“Best chicken fried steak in the world, awesome chicken and waffles, tasty patty melt, and Reuben, great burger. Fabulous biscuits and gravy and breakfast all around. This is my favorite restaurant in the valley. Super bomb. Love this place. The chef cooks everything to perfection and doesn’t let it leave the kitchen unless it’s perfect. Very few places like this left, you can see the love they put into the cooking. They care about doing it right and it shows. Pricing is on point. 5 stars all day.“
“We dropped in on our drive through Idaho and how lucky were we?! The place is cozy yet elegant, our waitress was the all-around best, and THE FOOD!!! So fresh and the balance of flavors! This is going to sound crazy, but the loaded french fries were like nothing I'd ever tasted before, bordering on the flavor explosions of fine cuisine. My only disappointment is I wish we weren't just passing through. I'd easily be in there once a week.“

“I had the best 1/2 lb. Beef burger there today that I have had anywhere on both sides of the Tetons!! I’ve lived in the area almost 30 years and nothing else compares! It was also the best I have ever had at the Royal Wolf! Maybe a new chef? Will definitely order a burger again!“
