5 Best Sandwich Shops in Laramie

“My husband and I had a delicious and delightful lunch at McAlister’s Deli today on what had to be one of the busiest days of the year, considering it was graduation day. My husband had the veggie sandwich, which he really enjoyed. The avocado and other vegetables were plentiful on it, and the multigrain roll looked delectable. I loved my French dip sandwich. Service was quick, friendly, and efficient. We were asked several times if we needed refills or anything else. Given how busy it was, the staff did an amazing job of keeping up with everything.“

“Best Subway We've Had!

Stopped here on our way back to Colorado from Steamboat Springs and were blown away! My daughter and I each got a sandwich, cookies, and she grabbed a drink. As we were driving and eating, she paused and asked, “How’s yours?” I realized I’d been quietly enjoying it—it was honestly the best Subway sandwich I can remember having. Everything was fresh, perfectly made, and delicious.

She kept raving about how good her sandwich was too—and especially the lemonade. Not sure if they keep the drink machine cleaner than most, but whatever they’re doing, it’s working!

Bonus: the staff was super fast and efficient, which we really appreciated on a road trip.

“4 stars ⭐ I had never been to a Jimmy John's before living in Laramie. And, it was a decision made much too late. The menu is a little overwhelming with all the choices, but stuck with my standard BLT. I mean, how can a BLT go wrong? It can't. And, the chocolate chip cookies? Fantastic. Even better nice and warmed up“

“Got two footings tonight and they were delicious! When we went into the restaurant the only person working was Ally and despite the Mobile orders and small line in the lobby she had such a great attitude and welcomed us in with a smile. I really appreciated her service and hope to see her again.“

“Service and food was good. However, there’s room for improvement on restaurant cleanliness. Floors were dirty, and all of the tables were dirty from previous patrons eating lunch (when I arrived, three of the seven tables were in use.) I observed five employees on site, but no one apparently had 10 minutes to sweep floors or clean tables apparently. In my 30 minutes of eat-in time, five customers came in to place food orders, with two employees working the counter. After the last customer left at 1:47 pm, no one came out to clean the lobby of tables and floors. I left at 1:55 pm.“
