The Old Faithful Inn Dining Room offers a decent dining experience, but may not exceed expectations. While prices are steep, the bison bratwurst is a highlight. Service is adequate, but not exceptionally friendly. The buffet options are limited, but the pleasant atmosphere makes up for it. A quiet breakfast experience is available before the crowds arrive. Reservations are required, and parking is plentiful. The food inside the national park is slightly better than fine, with dishes like Idaho red trout with mashed potatoes and vegetables cooked and seasoned very well. The roasted red pepper smoked gouda soup and caesar salad are satisfying, and drinks such as the huckleberry martini and spring sipper are delightful and refreshing.
