“Wu-Rons is the new best place for ramen in Portland. I almost don’t want to tell people because it was so easy and fast to get a bowl of their Nagahama Tonkotsu ramen. The menu is simple and authentic. The old Noraneko space it resides in has been simplified as well, making the space easier to be in while maintaining its dignity as a spot to get a solid bowl of ramen. It is cliche for someone like me, a 30 year old nerd, to say “I’ve had a lot of ramen” but it’s true. Across Japan and throughout Portland. Ramen restaurants stateside often struggle to present the real experience of one of Japan’s key foods. It doesn’t need to be elevated or exotic or chic to be special. Solid broth. Solid noodles. Solid chashu. Assembled cleanly. Something a truck driver traveling through Fukuoka could get on a rainy day. That’s Wu-Rons and I can’t wait to go back.“

“Takeout Review I called in to place an order and it was fast and easy. The card machine wasn't working so that was an issue since I didn't have enough cash at hand. They were also accepting venmo which proved to be helpful . I arrived on the time they gave, and the food was ready. The Ramen was well packed and so easy to carry in the car. We got the Killer spicy ,Tamago Mayu and Gyoza. The Staff recommended to get the Shio and Miso broths . I added egg and Black garlic as additional toppings as well . Both the Ramens were extremely flavorful and hearty . The Killer spicy as the name suggests has got intense heat so be cautious if you have a low tolerance . I have a good threshold for spice but I just couldn't finish the whole thing in one sitting but yayyy for leftovers. Next day I added more broth and that made the intensity go down a little bit .The noodles for this one are slightly thicker but soak up all the flavour really well . on the other hand -You cant go wrong with the Tamago Mayu -it has that nice umami notes with a very nice bite to the noodles. Price is very fair and good portion sizes.“

“Senyo by Ramen Ippo is the best ramen in Portland. Dice is absolutely amazing at what he does. His tan tan is incredibly well balanced. The broth is almost creamy, yet so smooth. Very satisfying on a cold, wet day.Their garden ramen is fresh, healthy. We get it a little spicy (level 3 out of 5).Go early so you can get one of his amazing eggs!Six stars out of five!“

“What a pleasant find this little gem in just a normal Asian market!! We went to H-Mart to get our grocery shopping done, and we decided to try this place out. It's be there for a long time but we never thought of trying it out. I'm glad we did! People working there were very friendly and so nice, and ramen was one of the best I've had in Portland area!! And a bowl of ramen being just $12 is also very generous. Everything being so expensive these days, we kinda have to shop smart, you know. Don't let this place being in a corner of the grocery store fool you. You will not regret!!!“

“Great food and great service. My vegan truffle mushroom ramen was fantastic. If you order the most basic ramen, it will taste the most basic. It is delicious nonetheless!Service was good. Food came out fast. Nana at the register knew the menu well and helped me order the best dish for me. Tina brought our food over and our silverware. She was helpful without us asking.Great food great service!“

“I come here often especially during racing season. It’s always the best ramen and Udon I can find. Fresh, hot, tasty, and friendly service. It’s not overly priced either for what you get. Small “hole in the wall” place with amazing food, you won’t regret it. I try and introduce as many friends as I can to this place“

“BEST VEGAN Ramen ANYWHERE!! I lived in Southern California where LA & San Diego is known for their superior ramen restaurants. (I mentioned this to the owner of this place and he agreed). I've been to the "best" ramen places around California and Oregon. This ramen is the BEST I've ever had. Hands-down. If you are a vegan, the Tan Tan is just amazing.“

“I started off my Saturday with a great meal with a good friend. We had a reservation for a distillery tour and we wanted to make sure we had a good base for the day ahead.Overall our experience was great. The staff was really nice and the food came out quickly. The ramen was pretty good, I’d say maybe a 7. The Fried Chx Rice bowl definitely hit the spot as well as the buns.“

“Food: -Not pictured: Spicy ramen is always my go to. The ramen here is always cooked to the perfect texture and soup flavor is temperature is on point. -The Pork Tonkatsu: my bf got this since it was new on the menu. Unfortunately the portion was extremely small, and only came with a side of cabbage and not filling whatsoever. It felt like a small portion even for an appetizer. The pork itself was extremely tough and hard to eat. When biting into it, the pork just fell right out of the batter. Service: - Unfortunately we sat at the smaller booths behind the work station so it was hard for the employees to see us. I kind of felt forgotten because we had to flag down an employee for things throughout our visit. I don't mind it though. Overall staff was extremely kind and welcoming! Ambiance: The place was really clean and comfortable. I really appreciated how well the staff cleaned each table after use. We went around 2:30pm so we got a table right away!:)“

“Mirakutei is one of our go-to’s for sushi, and never disappoints. This last time though, we ordered take out, and although it was delicious, one of our rolls was incorrect. I’m not even sure which one they gave us, but it was supposed to be the Burnside Bridge Roll. Kinda disappointed we got something we didn’t ask for.“

“Live right around the corner and this is our go to sushi spot! Incredible staff, so pleasant and attentive! On top of the phenomenal service they have gluten free tempura which feels like such a treat. I also highly recommend chance of rain. If you’re on Mississippi you need to stop here!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free tempera!!!“

“I'm always on the lookout for a good noodle place and this place exceeded my expectations. I had stopped in here for dinner before heading over to the movies. My go-to is usually a spicy ramen, but decided to give my iron stomach a rest for the night. I did add the chili oil to it, but it wasn't overbearing. I'd absolutely come back here when I'm back in Portland.“

“I come here at least once a week, and my go-to is their yakisoba (I get it spicy). Easily my favorite place to get food in town!Parking: Sometimes it’s busy in the area, and also the spaces are really cramped.Kid-friendliness: The pavilion has seating for more people than are usually there. Tables usually have 4 seats.Wheelchair accessibility: It may be difficult to maneuver larger wheelchairs up to the window, and it’s high up.“

“I've been here twice now and the food has been consistently good. First time I got the Cali burrito which was tasty, but I do wish the fries were just a little crispier. They seemed just a little undercooked. Second time I got the super nachos with chicken and they were good. A ton of food for a good price. Service is also consistently great and I love all their salsas. Definitely want to come back and try the ramen and queso taco next time.“

“This is a top 3 Portland ramen spot. For all you meat eaters get the tonkatsu shoyu or shoyu red with extra pork bits on top. They're crispy, well seasoned, and super filling. Pork broth has so much more depth than a chicken in my opinion. Add a pilsner to wet your whistle and you're smooth sailing.“

“I loved the customer service both of the people there were nice. I got the "Spicy Chicken" item which comes with spicy chicken and rice, and it was good. First time in awhile I got good food and good customer service, I'll go here again.“

“A quaint little ramen shop. Got that hole in the wall vibe. The most incredible coconut miso ramen. Everything I've tried from their menu is first rate but that ramen is on a whole other level. 12 of 10. Try this ramen. Seriously one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth.“

“The mt fuji is some how better than the sum of it's parts... They're cooking the rice with some crazy recipe or something, cause it's so good. Better than will made sushi good. I usually think burritos are silly and worse than sushi.....This, this is good.“

“The place is in cartlandia. The entrance can be missed if not familiar with the area. Multiple outdoor seating are available. There is also indoor seating option. You’ll have to get the code from the vendor whom you bought your food. The place can get crowded during busy hours. The ramen miso broth was good. The pork content was a LOT as compared to other places that I have been to. Maybe the vendor just felt being generous when ordered.Be mindful of the birds when you sit outside. They appear to be comfortable with and tend to get too close to the food.“

“Seated immediately. Gentleman was very polite and helped us to understand some of the dishes. Definitely knew his stuff. He was attentive without crowding us. Booth was comfortable, but there are tables too if you prefer. Reasonable amount of seating. Food was well presented and very tasty. We left full and satisfied after we finished everything. Most of the time we leave a restaurant with leftovers, but here we couldn't stop till it was gone because it was so tasty. The menu has pictures to help identify what is what, and offers something for everyone. They also do to go orders. We wanted to go someplace different than the traditional Shari's or IHOP - and this fit the bill. We live in Sherwood, but it was worth the drive. Clean and well decorated too. Great experience! Thanks!Vegetarian options: They had different options, including dishes with tofu. You would have several options.Parking: Parking lot for the strip mall this place is in has lots of space.Kid-friendliness: Had some children's size items in the menu, or you could share a larger bowl item with your child, and add appetizers to supplement if needed. Or, you can order a full size for the kids and take your leftovers to enjoy at home.“

“We've had Mikasa delivery a few times and finally got to go in person. It's a nice, small, restaurant with a few tables along 1 wall. The waitresses were friendly and helpful with our questions before ordering. We got the gyoza, edamame, miso ramen, laksa ramen (made gluten free), cali & avocado rolls, and a poke bowl. Everyone was very happy with their order and gobbled it. The laksa was nicely spicy and the soft boiled egg in the ramen was so good. We'll definitely be back!Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options and they were really accommodating about food allergies so would probably also accommodate vegetarian requestsDietary restrictions: Server double checked with the kitchen for our dietary restrictions without us asking her to.Parking: Street parking on the side streetsKid-friendliness: Gyoza, edamame, and other kid friendly options. Our girls loved what they got.“

“I come here for lunch pretty often and I love this place. One time I had an issue with an order and they went above and beyond to fix it (I didn't even ask for anything, just pointed out my issue). Love this place. The Chicken Karaage is GREAT!!“

“Best sushi in Portland hands down. Fish quality and selection is always 10/10. Chefs are the real deal and are so fun to watch (highly recommend sitting at the sushi bar).Dietary restrictions: They always ask you as soon as you walk in whether you have any restrictions.“
