“It was a perfect breakfast for the three of us before we dropped out daughter off at the airport. I had my traditional two eggs over easy with toast sausage and bacon. The two others had some wonderful eggs-benny. My eggs were perfect, the toast was perfect, the bacon was crispy, and the sausages were spicy and succulent, making for a delicious meal. Arlene was wonderful throughout the whole meal so thanks to her especially!“

“I love this Blanco Cantina location! Food is always great, well seasoned, with a large selection of condiments for additional spice. Didn’t catch our servers name (very long dark hair, with glasses?) but she was very attentive and visibly hard working. The atmosphere is welcoming and unique, artistic decor. I try to regular here.

Parking: There’s currently construction on the street, but there are nearby parking lots which are a very short walk away.“

“Posting this review because there are nights when I wake up in a cold sweat, salivating and dreaming about the absolutely heavenly creation that Leopold's has come up with.

A jam packed gut buster filled with 3000+ calories worth of fries, cheese, gravy, turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and greens for garnish. This guaranteed food coma is not for the weak hearted, its not even for 2-3 weak hearts because thats who I came with and we were defeated.

I wish they had this more often, but I also thank them that they do not have this more often. Amazing restaurant, atmosphere and vibes. Love it here <3“

“The steak knife experience was through the roof! Paige was top notch…like a ninja right there filling my water in my peripherals before I even realized my water was low!

Brought extra sauce, dips and hot sauces for me!

Oh did I mention the steak knife! Best part!

“This is one of our favourite places to stop by for a cocktail. Some of the best bartending in calgary, quality drinks. Love that they serve vegan food. My boyfriend and I like getting the happy hour vegan wings, he likes them even as a meat eater. Highly recommend this place.

“We had a fabulous experience from beginning to end. We came after a play and on a Sunday afternoon and they were able to accommodate us without a reservation. Our server was fantastic he walked us through the menu and answered all the questions that I had about the restaurant. We did the Sunday dinner menu. What a fabulous value! It is $45 per person and is served family style. We reserved a soup, salad, lasagna, chicken legs, seasonal veggies and two desserts. Each course was delicious and provided a great variety. The server told us about their water program with a different charity receiving the funds each month. There was no pressure to buy the water - we did but the two tables beside us did not and there was no difference in service.

The courses were brought out at a good pace. We didn't feel rushed but we were left waiting.

The aesthetic was gorgeous and added to the enjoyment of our meal.“

I have had many good experiences at this place. The wings are great, the service is great, etc. With that said…

Their breakfast is an abomination. I could taste onion rings and other bar food when eating the pancakes (didn’t clean the grill enough), my mom’s French toast was covered in excess egg and gooey, and the toast seemed to have been oiled, not buttered. It had the same texture as a deep fried French fry.

Stick to their bar food and drinks, you’ll like it. With that said, they did comp most of the meal.“

The food counter area could not have been better designed to bring you back to the street food days of arcades not having a kitchen.....oh btw Morgan from the kitchen is a rockstar for putting up with our work function.

The staff at Botanicus Kitchen and Bar were incredibly supportive of all our surprise plans and ideas. They listened to our needs and made the process easy, but be sure to coordinate with them to ensure everything runs smoothly. The food was served perfectly and was absolutely delicious!

Even though we only booked a standard seating arrangement, we felt like we had the entire restaurant to ourselves with how well we were treated, even though there were other customers dining in.

We also brought our own photographer and videographer, and they were very open and accommodating, allowing us to capture the special moments without any hassle.

The live music by Jesse Peter, who played the organ and sang beautifully, made the night even more memorable. Make sure to book him for your event—he's a regular entertainer at the restaurant and will coordinate directly with them to ensure everything is seamless.

“Great hole in the wall bar and grill on 17th Ave SE. The staff were very nice, atmosphere was enjoyable. The music wasn't to loud so you could have a conversation without screaming. The food was great. Got the 5 Apps for $38 plus a large chicken caesar salad and a burger with fries and gravy. The gravy reminded me of the very yummy high school gravy, which I was very pleased to find out. ? ? ? ? ? ? onion rings, potato skins, deep fried pickles, and the steak bites were all so good.
Had ro take a couple of boxes homeof leftovers but so glad we did. The burger was even better then next day for dinner. First burger I've ever had that you could eat the day after. ????
Will definitely go there again very soon, and always remember to bring cash, it's the best currency since we have to have one.

“As soon as I walked in Nine Inch Nails was playing - I knew it was my place lol we had two spaghetts with Miller beer (my fav) and I had the deli sandwich it was absolutely amazing. The bread was nice and soft and super flavourful. $18 bucks with fries - you can’t beat it.

The person who helped us - Ian - was really nice and it was a 10/10 experience. Atmosphere was fantastic for those who like pub life.

So happy that this is our neighbourhood I live in Killarney and it’s just just a walk around the corner.“
