“It was a perfect breakfast for the three of us before we dropped out daughter off at the airport. I had my traditional two eggs over easy with toast sausage and bacon. The two others had some wonderful eggs-benny. My eggs were perfect, the toast was perfect, the bacon was crispy, and the sausages were spicy and succulent, making for a delicious meal. Arlene was wonderful throughout the whole meal so thanks to her especially!“

“We had an incredible experience at Bridgette Bar. Out of towners, we showed up on a Friday without reservations. They said the only seats they had were at the Chef's Bar. We've never sat at a Chef's Bar but decided to give it a try. What a great time! It was fun watching the cook staff and chatting with them. And the food was outstanding! Great service, great vibe, we had a great time. If we lived in Calgary, Bridgette Bar would be a regular stop!“

They worked with us to tailor a special order for my group, and were even able to add in some last minute additions to the order. One of our guests had a medical emergency, and they were responsive to our needs the whole time. Plus, the mezzanine level was the perfect size for my group of 38. Overall great experience“

“I ordered the dill pickle burger of the month for my mom and me through DoorDash, along with a side of poutine. The burger was incredibly tasty and cheesy—the fried pickles on top gave it the perfect extra pickle kick, which I especially loved as a big pickle fan. You really can’t go wrong with it! The poutine was just the right size, and I was impressed that a side portion still felt generous. There was plenty of gravy too, so no chance of it being dry.

Leopold’s is easily one of my favourite places to eat. I love that they always feature a new burger of the month, and their ever-changing menu of goodies keeps me coming back for more!“

“Some bars are just places to grab a drink. The Sound Room is a place to chill. It’s one of those rare spots where every element just clicks into place, and you might accidentally settle in for the entire evening.

First off, the beer selection is top-tier. Whether you're a craft beer connoisseur or just looking for a good, reliable pint, they’ve got you covered.

And the music? Absolutely perfect. It’s not just background noise; it's a part of the experience. The playlist is so perfect!

It’s the kind of sound that sets a cool, laid-back vibe without being so loud you can’t talk to your friends.

But what really makes The Sound Room special is the atmosphere. This place is less of a bar and more of a warm, fuzzy blanket with a liquor license. The lighting is low and friendly, the chairs practically beg you to sink into them, and the whole place has this wonderfully lived-in vibe.

It’s the kind of spot where you show up planning to stay for an hour, and three hours later you're still there, debating whether it's socially acceptable to bring your slippers next time.

It’s truly a standout spot, and I can't recommend it enough.

“Wow! This was a culinary delight. Such great flavors. From start to finish we were not disappointed. Our server was Danni and she had a great personality, knew the menu very well, and was very attentive. When asked what I wanted to drink I said I like gin and she offered to make a drink that was not on the menu that she makes and so happy I said yes. This is a very small, intimate restaurant. My only complaint is the style of music that was playing and how loud. Being such a small space it does not need to be that loud. We will definitely be going back. Great job to everyone working there.“

I was so impressed with the measures the waiter and cooking staff took to ensure I didn't come in contact with my food allergies, the sharing plates concept was brilliant, and the food was delicious. “Great atmosphere and great service. We stumbled at this wine bar looking for another place, but glad we went inside. Small cozy spot that nice and quiet to end the night with a glass of wine. The server explained the wines by glass to us and gave us a few options. Because we got there late, the kitchen was closed but they had desserts available. We got the chocolate fondant (lava cake) and it was delicious.“

Easily one of the best bars ive been to in Canada alongside some seasoned favourites back in Vancouver, but this place is a gem!!! 💎💎💎💎💎💎💎 i really enjoyed my Oolong Peach Long Island (delicious... “Greta Bar is perfect for groups, it has a great energy and a fun crowd! The basement turns into a dance floor, which made the night even better.

Arcade games were a bit pricey (we loaded 140 points and played around 6–8 games), so I suggest going on a Sunday for the $5/hour unlimited games.
Beers and cocktails were reasonably priced, and the overall vibe was lively and well-designed. Definitely a good time!“

“Quirky, dark, and intimate spot for creative cocktails and small plates. They have an extensive cocktail menu which was divided by flavor profile. Our waitress was very helpful in giving recommendations. I enjoyed the Haymaker and Naked & Famous. Their drinks are quite strong (2-3 oz), so drink with care! Their food menu is entirely vegan. I had the vegan lobster roll, which imitated the flavor and texture of lobster quite well. The space is VERY compact, with only bar seating and a few high tops, so I highly recommend making a reservation. There is plenty of free street parking in the evenings, and it is very conveniently located between downtown and Inglewood.“

“There have been a couple negative reviews about being bear maced outside the bar but I was the person who took the brunt of this random attack. The gentlemen at the front door couldn’t have handled it better. They cant let anyone inside because mace can spread after contact and affect everyone in the bar. They provided me with milk, water, and sanitary whipes to help. They also apprehended the attacker and contained him until police arrived. Afterwards they brought everyone inside who made police statements and placed us at a table and took care of us all night. Cant praise the staff here enough.“
