“Probably it's the first time to leave the comment for Fast food. When I have not eaten a hot burger(which hot should be a very basic requirement) for a while, i am really happy and appreciated they can make it. The fries are also in golden and hot. This should be the standard of all the fast food.“

“We had an awesome experience here at the DQ Bow trail. Staff are so friendly and helpful! We only got the shake and blizzard and yet we still felt very well-served. Hands down one of the best customer service!
We went to take a seat and they brought us our order… which is not common nowadays in the fast food industry. Usually, restaurants just call you to grab your order when it’s ready.

Keep up the excellent work, DQ Bow trail! Your hard work, clean atmosphere, and friendly service is so welll-appreciated.

The staff are always kind, the atmosphere is great, and I absolutely love the Blizzards here. Out of all the DQs in Calgary, this is the only one I’ll be going to from now on.“

“I ordered a Dairy Queen Blizzard and it was a really enjoyable treat. The ice cream was creamy and smooth, and the mix-ins were blended well so that every bite had a good balance of flavor and texture. Ukrainian with the brown hair was so sweet and kind was a little taken back when another employee a boy was extremely rude to her when she realized that the blizzard was a large but was given a small and asked him to remake it in the large. “I've been getting my daughter's ice cream cake here almost every year for ten years. Yes the decor it's a little dated but it's retro, yes the food is dependant on which staff is working but what place isn't like that. The best part about this location is the friendly staff. I've never had any real issues and when one comes up, this staff is quick to find a solution. Just wish we still lived in the NW. Thank you for all the great cakes!

Parking: The parking spots are tight for newer cars and people often struggle, so watch your surroundings and be careful. Seen plenty of cars scuffed up because they didn't take into account how narrow the whole place is.“

“I came by for a chili dog and an ice cream, and I must say how impressed I was with the fellow behind the counter. When I walked up he immediately dropped whwt he was doing to take my order. He was quick witted like a classy bar tender, and despite being out of chili he suggested bacon bits on the dog that were just about as good. He got to work right away after the order and went right back to the cleaning he was doing before I got there.I didn't catch his name but you could tell this guy seriously take pride in his work and he's hot a generous nature.It was a unique and personable experience, definitely not what I'd expect from a large franchise restauraunt like DQ. 10/10“

“Stopped in with a friend for a cone & some fries. The service is friendly & fast. The lobby is cosy & welcoming. The cones are the best in Calgary because they wash their ice cream machines daily, not all DQ’s do. The food is great also.“

“I cannot commend this location enough! We (kid you not) drive across the city to get our ice cream cakes from this location. They always do a phenomenal job and actually still pipe pictures on the cakes with piping gel. We always tell them to be creative and we get the best cakes here. Our local store has gone to printed images, and premade royal icing decorations out of a box. So when we need an ice cream cake, this is the only store in Calgary we go to.“

“I came here after work and had wonderful service. I asked about the under the rainbow shake and the person who served me didn’t know so they asked and found out for me. Then they even made a sample for me to try it! It was very tasty and my food came fairly fast. The quality was good and the store was clean. I would definitely come back!“

“This small location is run by a lovely husband and wife team. They are always friendly and cheerful, even when business is slow because school is out. They remember my kids and ask how they are doing.The ice cream is well made - I loved the old Turtle blizzard recipe and when I come here to order it, they get it exactly right. Thank you for still making my favorites even if they're not on the menu!In response to those complaining about no free blizzards, please remember that each DQ location is a franchise and that the owners can decide what promotions to participate in. Rent at Mac Hall is expensive. It would be tough to give away free blizzards to every university student who downloads an app...“

“Queen of Vanilla Sundae.
If one craves for the typical vanilla sundae cone, no need to go anywhere else but the Queen.
Sundae is consistently good, creamy and balanced here. They are one of experts when it comes to ice creams after all. Too bad that they don’t have coffee flavored ones even in their Blizzard line up here in Calgary. Nevertheless, it’s good.

“This dq doesn’t accept dq‘s mobile app’s points, cause they don’t have anything to scan the barcode on your phone with. But apart from that, had great service and they were very nice and gave us caps and a carrying tray for our blizzards.“

One missing thing was sound. You'd think you were in a library. “I was waiting for my wife in the mall this afternoon to get her hair done. I decided to grab a quick drink while I waited. I want to give a big shout out for the young man serving us. As I lined up, I noticed that he was the only one working. Even though there was a line, he never got rushed or flustered. When it was my turn to order, he calmly asked how he could help me. I gave him my order for a Julius and he proceeded to make the drink correctly and quickly. I asked him if he was all alone there and he replied yes but that is fine. Never a complaint or a negative word. He had a right to be as some customers were less than polite to him. Great employee and deserves to be recognized ?“

“Despite some of the negative reviews, I’ve personally never had a bad experience at this Dairy Queen. I don’t visit often, usually stopping by with my son just for an Oreo Blizzard or to order custom cakes for birthdays, but every time, the customer service has been great. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. The last time I was there, I had my 2-year-old in my arms, and they kindly carried my cake to the car for me. It’s those little things that make the difference.“

“Yesterday, I ordered a MooLatte and Poutine via Uber Eats for pick up. I called the restaurant to inform that I was gonna be a few minutes late to pick up my order, and they were fine with it, and they kept the food and drink nice and fresh. I also had no where to lock my bike, so one man who is a worker there whose name I do not know told me to take my bike inside so that no one would steal my bike. The staff went above and beyond. This Dairy Queen is the location that is local to me so I will continue to go here sometimes because the staff are nice, responsible, and they make the food and drinks good. “I love the section of this Diary Queen where it seems to look like a greenhouse , but in a fast food chain ! . The food here is unlike anywhere in Calgary , serving it hot , delectable and fast . The servers were super nice , especially one of them who's name is Maye . Her attitude towards this establishment brings joy in her piers and the people around her , she's the definitely someone who you should consider to be your server in the drive through at Dairy Queen ! .
