My most recent experience at the Sandstone DQ was far from exceptional. I have been getting ice cream cakes for birthdays for many years from either this location or the Hunterhorn Plaza location, and always request to have the writing on the cakes done with icing, as the gel is rather distasteful, and no one in the family likes it. This has never been an issue before, but for some reason, it was this time. The server refused, saying it could only be done with gel. More disappointing...read full review
Blizzards are usually runny, we put them in the freezer at home. They are using the lids for the drink cups. That way they don't put "too much" ice cream in the Blizzard. Lame, especially when you consider the original tall lids are meant to be used as a holder for the Blizzard cups. I think I'll stick with local ice cream shops from now on.
