“Today I had the pleasure of going to Annabelle's downtown for lunch. I had the radiatori
wild mushroom ragu, parmesan brodo, pecorinio. Unbelievably good. I think it was the best pasta dish I have ever eaten and after 28 years of entertaining clients and eating all over, I have tried alot! This restaurant is awesome. I asked for a wine pairing and they recommended a cabernet franc which went beautifully. If tou love pasta this is a must visit location in Calgary.“

“Had a birthday dinner here with my wife last night. The overall experience was fantastic. Easy location, great music, and a good spot to eat and converse. We had the meatballs, beets, rigatoni, and squid ink pasta, all of which we would recommend.

“I visited Calgary and tasted the pizza and pasta. It’s really amazing. The pizza is so good as well as the pasta. It suits my palette perfectly with its exquisite flavor. Unlike most pizzas, the flavor is light and not overpowering, and isn’t majorly greasy. I’d definitely recommend this place if you are craving Italian pizza.“

“We dropped in for a quick bite. I expected the food to be good (since it's connected to Linas) and it was delicious and very reasonably priced. The service is warm and professional. They were featuring some lovely live accoustic bluesy musicians, that was a perfect touch of unexpected. The volume of the live music was perfect, you could hear them well but it wasn't intrusive. Everything was very pleasant and thoughtful, they did an excellent job creating a satisfying experience. Definitely recommend.“

“This place is amazing. We first had aperitivo, then pasta and finally dessert. Everything was simply amazing. Aperitivo we had arancini and meatballs with Aperol Spritz, great price on the happy hour menu and wow that tomato sauce was amazing!! The pasta fileja was so delicious, we ordered one boscaiola and one with nduja, both excellent!!! Dessert - tiramisu and bombolone gelato, paired with the suggested cocktails, another success! “I went for breakfast this morning after reading about it somewhere on social media. It's only about a block from home, so it's very convenient I wasn't disappointed! I had Smoked Salmon Benedict. The eggs were perfectly soft poached, and the house made hollandaise, hashbrowns, and Italian pork sausage were delicious. The kitchen adds a few capers to this dish - not so many they drown the plate, but enough to give it a little zest. The meal was beautifully played - the kitchen understands customers eat with their eyes as much as their taste buds. Service was casual and friendly, skillfully blended with prompt and professional. The owner was my server, and she genuinely wanted to ensure I enjoyed my meal. I did. Immensely! I'll be back for breakfast soon, and I'm pretty sure we'll check out their dinner menu soon, too. Based on breakfast, I highly recommend La Vienna.“

Sid pays particular attention to our needs, making suggestions, and making us feel welcome with his cheerful disposition and interesting conversation. “My third time ordering in less than a month through door dash, and phenomenal everytime! The sauce is magical, I'm addicted. And the crust is perfect, even better if you throw in the air fryer for a min.
Now here's where I wish I could give extra stars, because they outshine any pizza I've ever tasted! I have bad stomach issues, so my ability to eat pizza is limited and still I suffer. For some reason with Estoria, I have never had an upset stomach and I can eat multiple slices at once. This speaks to the quality of ingredients 👏 matched with flavour 👌
Not to mention, they don't raise their prices on Doordash, like most places do - it's menu prices. So happy I found them!“

The pizza is really good, lots of toppings and we'll priced. The burgers and other items I have tried are also great.
Definitely give this place a try if your looking for take out or delivery. It's much better then any of the chain pizza places in the area. It's not even a competition.“

“Over good restaurant for having a relaxed Italian meal. I have a bias but too many of the menu items have mushrooms.I will return for basic business meetings, but this is not a romantic night out type place.

We especially appreciate Jessica, who is a bundle of energy, making sure the cafe runs smoothly.

“The food and service here is delicious! There is also a self serve bread bar. As boring as bread may sound to some of us, the bread bar here has a variety of freshly baked breads and an equally wide selection of butter to put on that bread.

Their lasagna is a must try!

Although this place vibe is built to serve the more affluent consumer but honestly fair prices, I highly recommend this place.

“OK, so I just randomly went to this place I was super hungry after work and I was picking somebody up. I wasn’t even thinking about writing a review but my goodness the service that I got here was beyond top notch I was so surprised and it caught me off guard I was not expecting that. The dude working there gave me stuff for free without even asking he loaded me up with this amazing salad and hot sauce for my lasagna and he was so pleasant and well mannered. This kind of customer service was something I was not expecting. Honestly, I’m not gonna lie. The food was OK but the reason I will come back to this place again is because of the way they treated me. I was treated like royalty and I don’t even know these people and I just randomly showed up there and WOW WOW WOW!! Best bang for my buck but more than even that was just the level of respect I received here. Amazing service - people in the food industry should learn customer service from this place. And do I had to write a review and that’s what you just read!!!! Great place - Support this local business guys they deserve it!!!“

“Had lunch here today. Good experience overall.

Pepperoni pizza very good, crisp thin crust. Carbonara pasta very creamy and good too. Chicken pizza was a bit soggy with all the toppings. Kids chicken cutlet was solid and came with dessert.

Service was quick and employees were friendly.

“Before we get to the food - I need to point out that the service was incredible. Not only did Meagan give us great suggestions on the dishes and wine - she was super vigilant with what we needed, when we needed it. Super professional. I’d give her a raise if I could 🙏🏼

Now for the food:

Started with the beef carpaccio—thin slices of Alberta beef topped with crispy shallots, capers, arugula, mustard aioli, and Parmigiano Reggiano. It was light, savoury, and full of different textures 🥩

I always get focaccia at every Italian restaurant and this housemade focaccia came out warm, perfectly salted and seasoned with oregano. And of course the olive oil and balsamic vinegar paired with it was incredible 🍞

Then came the gigli pasta—rich and comforting, with Calabrese sausage, nduja butter, a hint of lemon, and cream, finished with Parmigiano.

The rosticciano—pork ribs grilled with herbs and vinegar, served with red onion, sweet pepperonata, and toasted pine nuts.

And we finished the meal off with an decadent double chocolate cake and a glass of rosso vino 🍷 😋“

“Buon Giorno has always been a family favourite. The new location is great. The new place has both the main dining room upstairs with similar decor to the old place, as well as a downstairs dining room which was much quieter. Our server, Michael, made our dining experience delightful. He was entertaining and efficient. The only downside was that, on a busy evening, we did have to wait an exceptionally long time for our food to arrive. When our food did arrive, it was piping hot and delicious as always. This indicates to me that, for times like these, more kitchen staff is needed to service the enlarged facility.“
