“Dined in at this location the other week. I’ve never been disappointed with Subway and that is still true today, they have a great selection of meats, breads, and sauces for the price that you pay. Easy to purchase for takeout and convenient as well because there’s a ton of locations around the city. My only qualm with this location is that I attempted to use a coupon here, showed it to the lady making my sandwiches, was acknowledged, however, when it came time to make the payment, I wasn’t informed that I had to scan the coupon and so the coupon was not applied towards my meal. Regardless, the location was clean, food was delicious, and service was good aside from the earlier stated miscommunication.“

“This is honestly the best Subway location I’ve ever been to in Calgary. The store is always spotless, and the food is consistently fresh the bread is fluffy, the veggies are crisp, and everything tastes amazing every single time. They’re also very generous with their portions, which makes a huge difference in the quality of the sandwiches.

They always wrap everything with care so nothing falls apart, and their hygiene and presentation are excellent. They have mixed up a few of my online orders before, but despite that, this location still deserves a full 5 stars. The quality, freshness, and service here are unmatched.“

“I’ve been to different subways in Calgary and although all services were the same, the service at the Chinook mall was exceptional. Both staff were excellent, courteous, respectful and polite. “I don't normally eat at subway, but last night November 7 2025 at 7:45pm my friend wanted a sandwich. I was greeted, and served by the most friendly and dare I say cute staff member. Even the lady that asked me to accompany her to subway commented about how great the service was, and also how cute the lady working there is. We took our food to go, and when we were eating we both agreed that the establishment was cleaner than we expected. I believe the lone worker was responsible for those duties. I think management should consider giving her a raise, and doing what it takes to keep her on the staff. More places need great staff that gobthe extra mile as she did. It was a great experience and I recommend everyone to enjoy the service there.“

“Had a bad experience last weekend here but the owner Nick made it right. Probably a bad day or something but I'm going to give this place another chance. Thank you to Nick the owner for caring about the customers that shows a lot of character for trying to make things right and listening to your customers. “My favourite sub shop. I guess I should mention my least favourite is the one in Shaughnessy although I haven’t been there for over a year, and I still don’t plan on going back. As I live close to this location, I’m glad it is my favourite. The staff are always friendly and efficient for orders. I can tell the staff take pride in what they do and it seems they care about their customers being happy. If I happen stop by when it’s not busy, they are busy cleaning - one of the cleanest locations that I know of. Friendly staff, spotless location and great food. (Out of about five that I have visited in the past). I am leaving this review because I think the staff deserve it.“

The end of her shift was nearly in sight, Jaskaran was bombarded with a long line of ravenous customers, including me. She put on a brave face and served everyone in a timely fashion with a smile. She crafted each sandwich with effortless precision and finesse, achieving a peaceful state of flow as she moved around her workstation. “Hi! This was my first time trying your SUB. To be honest, I felt a little bit disappointed because my friends had told me before that your sandwiches were always packed with lots of meat and veggies. But this time, the portion didn’t really go beyond my expectation. I guess it might be because of cost control, which I totally understand. In today’s economy, the value is still okay, but it didn’t quite exceed the impression I already had of Subway.

Secondly, just my personal suggestion: maybe you could install a magnetic mosquito screen for the kitchen door—I saw some on Temu. That would help keep flies out. And in the front area, a mosquito-repellent lamp might also help.

Lastly, the girl at the counter who took my order had such a sweet smile. But unfortunately, she said it was her last day working there. Honestly, one of the four stars this time is for her.

What a great group of attentive compassionate people. Today, thanks to the great eyesight and awareness of Simra, who spotted sparks and smoke , fire from under a vehicle who had just pulled up to the store, and the quick response of her and her coworker, Jomar, a disaster was prevented. They did not hesitate, stopping everything and arranging 911, provided a fire extinguisher which was used to put out the flames and support for the driver. I was the only person in the store at the time. After the fire department had dealt the situation and made sure it was safe, business resumed and I got my Sub. Major Bacon BLT. So tasty. Fresh ingredients.
I highly recommend this location, not jut for the great food but the great staff.
