Subway in Calgary

“It was my best experience with Subway, not that I didn’t order here before but Today was the big order and all foot long subs, other location cancelled my online order just 30 minutes before scheduled delivery then I went to this location to get the food.

They completed my order in 15-20 minutes which was perfect.

Definitely recommend this location, they truly care about their customer and their hospitality.

“This is honestly the best Subway location I’ve ever been to in Calgary. The store is always spotless, and the food is consistently fresh the bread is fluffy, the veggies are crisp, and everything tastes amazing every single time. They’re also very generous with their portions, which makes a huge difference in the quality of the sandwiches.

They always wrap everything with care so nothing falls apart, and their hygiene and presentation are excellent. They have mixed up a few of my online orders before, but despite that, this location still deserves a full 5 stars. The quality, freshness, and service here are unmatched.“

“One of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a Subway. It was quite busy when I went and I had to wait in line for 5-10 minutes but as soon as I entered, the staff warmly welcomed me, and did the same for everyone who came in after me. A huge shout-out to the staff for being friendly, and paying attention to cleanliness despite being so busy. They consistently switched gloves to avoid contamination and maintained a warm atmosphere. Would highly recommend!!“

“I’m only writing this review to shame the managers who have young female staff working completely alone at night in that location. Servicing customers and trying to do online orders. She was sweet. She didn’t complain at all. This is coming straight from me. If you don’t have staff to work a buddy system with crack heads around, YOU should be in your store with them until you hire someone or at least make it so they can lock the door. Not okay 👎🏽 gave her a huge tip. Nobody gets paid enough to be in danger and that stressed making sandwiches.“

“I visited your restaurant with my family on July 11, 2026. The food was great, and we enjoyed our meal.

My only concern was when I went to pay. Your debit machine prompted me for a tip, but there was no option to leave a 0% tip. I found that very frustrating.

As an owner, I think it's important to know that some customers are discouraged by this. While I realize I may be in the minority, I don't believe customers should have to search for a way to decline tipping. It can make people feel pressured or uncomfortable.

Our bill was $42, and the machine suggested a 20% tip—an additional $8.40. I don't mind choosing to tip when I feel it's appropriate, but I believe it should always be a genuine choice, including the option to leave 0%.

Unfortunately, this experience is enough that I'll likely avoid visiting this Subway location in the future—not because of the food or the service, both of which were good, but because of the payment experience.

I wanted to share this feedback in the hope that you'll consider adjusting the payment terminal settings so customers have a clear option to decline tipping if they choose.“

“The guy who made my food clearly cared about his job, he made me an amazing sandwich and he had excellent customer service. While I was waiting in line I looked up and I noticed that there were cameras directly above each sandwich making station and it made me feel very uncomfortable. I do not like that its either Subway international or this resturant specifically is recording my face with one camera and my sandwich order at rhe same time. That feels like a violation. Not including the fact that for the staff who are being considered constantly recorded for what ever reason. I thought this was Canada. I was raised to believe that you train and trust your staff to have integrity and work to the best of there ability. I will be visiting many other subways to observe if they all have cameras directly above every work station.“

“This is genuinely crazy.. i was using the subway app to place an order for lunch, i meant to place the order for the tuscany boulevard location, but instead i placed it across the city at this walden gate location closer to home, i forgot to change it🤦🏾‍♂️ tried to cancel the order in app but couldnt find the setting, so i just accepted that i wasted my money, but low and behold, an angel called my phone, calls me about the order, i tell her i placed it at the wrong location, and she offers for me to come later so they can remake the order. I tell her im probably not getting off work until like 5. So in my head im thinking “damn this girl is probably not gonna be working, will the other workers on the clock at 5 do it for me?” So come 5 o clock i remembered this on the way home, called in, and asked the workers currently on if they were able to do it. And guess what, they did! This level level of dedication is insanity, this level of customer service is unheard of.. there was absolutely no obligation for them to do this, in fact greedy corporate leaders would probably say to take my money and save the food resources, but the dedication to customer service from this woman was too high, i want to recommend everyone involved for an immediate promotion. Talbir and khush were the workers that were in at 5 o clock, but as for the girl at lunch who called me to let me know to get my sandwich, i forgot to ask for her name. All I know was that she was working monday aug 10th, 2026 around noon to recieve the order, she needs a promotion badly, this level of dedication to service must not go unrewarded, there needs to be more incentive for stuff like this. “Excellent service, great food and taste. Quick paced environment as it gets really packed up during the break time around 12. But inspire of that the client service is not compromised. Everyone is hands on quick and delivers exact same food in that environment as well. That's much appreciated. Plus I was served by this punjabi guy with tattoos today. He is so kind and polite, does his job really well.

“Subway is usually great. Not sure how this place of all places we go to, never had spinach (only on my last visit did they have it)... They rearranged the sitting arrangement, much better now but still more cramped than in other places which have more space to work with. Otherwise, the servers are friendly and don't skimp on veggies. Unless you use coupons.“
