“Tonight was the first time we had ever tried BarBurrito at University District. Oh my gawd! It was so good. And the gal working was so helpful with our orders. I had a pulled pork burrito with burrito sauce (asking for extra next time!!!). It was so delicious. I had the regular (med) size and it was really filling. Will definitely be back!“

“Stopped in at BarBurrito and had a genuinely solid experience. The food was fresh, portions were generous, and everything was put together properly. No soggy tortilla, no skimping, no chaos behind the counter. You could tell the team was organized and in control, which makes a big difference during a busy rush.

Service is where this visit really stood out. Tia and Arshan were friendly, attentive, and efficient without feeling rushed or scripted. They took the time to get the order right, answered questions clearly, and kept the line moving smoothly. That balance of speed and care is hard to pull off, and they nailed it.

“The food was absolutely outstanding! I had no idea this family-owned and operated chain even existed, and I’m so glad we discovered it.
We were warmly greeted by Dhawani (DB), who was fantastic to talk with and incredibly helpful. She patiently answered all of our questions about the menu, never made us feel rushed, and even let us sample the food before making our selections. Her friendly service made us feel genuinely welcome.

The restaurant itself was spotless, and I really appreciated that the music wasn’t overly loud like it can be at many other establishments.

“Generally a good experience. Order was ready to go when I arrived. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was good and made to spec. Only issue is the burrito spent too long in the press and was burnt. More then I would say is reasonable and I thought about asking them to remake it. Didn’t as it tasted mostly fine. Overall I would come back but have to knock some off for the poor quality control on that one.“

“We were a group of three that went in the middle of the week at 2:00. There was one larger group, a couple of other guests and us. The food was delicious - the tacos and the avocado chicken wrap. The drinks could have used a bit less ice. It took about half an hour for our first order of tableside guacamole to come. The guy who served it apologized for it being late, and was more apologetic when the avocados were too hard to smush together, and he had to take it back. Our actual server was kind of dismissive, and we think it was just her personality. The manager was very friendly.“
