“5 Stars – A Sweet Must-Stop in Canmore! Al’s Chimney Cakes is a delightful hidden gem in the heart of Canmore! We stumbled upon it while strolling downtown and were immediately drawn in by the sweet, cinnamon-sugar aroma coming from the shop. The chimney cakes are baked fresh to order, warm and crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside—absolutely heavenly. We tried the classic cinnamon sugar and one with Nutella and strawberries, and both were incredible. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. Al was so friendly and welcoming, and the cozy, charming vibe made the whole experience even better. Perfect for a treat after a hike or a sweet afternoon pick-me-up. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!“

“We were in Canmore for 48 hours and went to JK’s three times. As a vegetarian I appreciated the veggie options (hello protein tomato and lentil soup!). The bread was AMAZING. I had the ciabatta egg salad, quiche, and pretzel baguette and all were amazing. I haven’t stopped thinking of that pretzel baguette….“

“Bread is good. Been buying at Safeway. I was however surprised and disappointed when I noticed the size of the loaf this morning was much smaller. I looked at the label and saw it has gone down from 850g to 650g (almost a quarter less) for the same price (so 24% price increase).“
“They have the best gluten free bread for my wife! We used to think it was invermere but this is much closer to us (airdrie). A trip to Canmore and we can get her fresh amazing gluten free bread and amazing other treats and snacks as well!“

“Absolutely amazing bakery in Canmore Alberta we drove 4 hrs just so my daughters and wife could enjoy the delicious freshly baked goods I so recommend anyone going down to Canmore must stop by and pick up something for your day key tip go early or call them to order a few days ahead as they do run out quickly“
