Really enjoyed the meal from Fortune One! The fried rice was flavorful with a nice mix of veggies, and the stir-fried veggies were fresh and crisp. The sweet and sour chicken had a great sauce and tender pieces, paired well with the egg roll. The portion size was generous, and the included water bottle was a nice touch. Service was quick for takeout. Only minor gripe was that the egg roll could’ve been a bit crispier. Definitely worth a try for a tasty Chinese meal!“

“My nephew recommended Bamboo house and I ordered 4 medium platters for my wife’s birthday party. The order was cashew gai ding, ginger beef, Shanghai noodles with 3 meat and General Tao chicken, with a delivery time of 5 pm. The food was delivered exactly at 5 pm and this had to be the best Chinese food myself and our guests have ever had in Calgary. Very tasty, lots of food and a decent price. I would strongly recommend this restaurant!“

“Wow…first time eating there…probably not the last time. Only one other table, order was out in good time. Dumplings were out of this world good. Ordered a dinner for two, for three of us and we had to pack enough for another person. Bottom line is amazing food, huge portions, reasonably priced, massive bargain. Note…we had Chinese cuisine, not the Thai. 100% recommended this restaurant if you want amazing Chinese cuisine 👍“

“I had lunch and dinner here 6 times since this location opened up for business. Me and my friends are all happy with the food and service here. We like sweet and sour pork in fresh pineapple. We like Singapore rice noodles. We like beef rice noodles.“

“#1 beef n broccoli with black bean sauce added. Sauce is a bit runny, but recommend anyway.
#2 Satay noodles no spice as promised. Last order Shanghai noodles the same very bland. Will remember to request extra spice or just skip.
#3 Palace chicken not worth ordering, no spice a couple of chili flakes for show. Same sauce as S&S pork without the sour, but it included the pineapple missing from #4 weird.
#4 My favorite and include on every order S &S pork, but this time pineapple was missing.
#5 best chicken fried rice I've in years love this, lots of flavor and it actually has visible chicken not just broth.“

The food was hot and fresh, pretty tasty and the prices are very affordable. The staff were quick and attentive - good service.
It’s a pretty small restaurant with maybe 10 tables…but was full during lunch today.

“The lady,guess is the owner is very friendly amd welcoming.
Food was delicious,just that disappointed with is the soup..as a muslim we don't eat pork and instead was offered spring rolls but would have been better with other kind of soup.
Food Portion was good as 9rdered for 3 persons

“This was our first time visiting this restaurant the service was good friendly and prompt.
The 12 of us really enjoyed dinner age of the plates for delicious!
The only comment that I would say that there is a slight cigarette smoke smell in the air, possibly from the lounge next door. Suggesting the ownership of this restaurant speak to somebody regarding the HVAC system“

“I’m a regular here and always look forward to coming back! The staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive — they remember faces, greet you with genuine smiles, and make sure you’re well taken care of every time.The food is always fresh, well-prepared, and served promptly. Sometimes people can be quick to complain online, but my experience has always been positive from start to finish. I’ve seen some rude customers here who were looking down on the staff. Honestly, it just shows how disconnected some people are from the reality of how much effort and skill go into the people who work here. It’s easy for some people to forget that behind the uniform, there’s a real person. Some of them are students, or people working extra jobs to support themselves. If you’re on the fence because of a few bad reviews — give this place a chance. You’ll see the difference for yourself!“
