Fella behind the bar took $5 before handing back change, on a $23 bill. Thought my mum wouldn’t notice. Don’t love that. Obviously we would have tipped but he decided to take the amount he wanted. All our beers were out of cans. That he hands to you and you pour yourself. He scoffed at us when I asked if he had a sour, and laughed at my mum for asking if he had anything gluten free she could drink. Nasty.
terrible service. would not recommend had the bar tender yell at me for my ID before I even got to sit down. and then had the female bar tender yell at me outside when i was talking on the phone about the terribe service. the conversation didn't involve her and having work in customer service you should know to not fight with customers especially if they aren't even talking to you 🙄

Lake Louise Village Grill & Bar is a popular restaurant on the second floor, known for its efficient service despite a busy atmosphere. The location is fantastic and convenient for visitors after a day of exploring. The 10oz steak is cooked to perfection, and the staff is friendly and attentive, doing a great job managing the crowd, especially during the busy summer season. The casual setting makes it a great spot to grab a meal. Customers often comment that the tables, silverware, plates, and glasses are clean and not sticky. The food is generally standard, with the fish and chips offering a healthy portion of fish and normal fries, and the salad is pretty good. Some meals, like the thick chicken noodle and Chinese style vegetables with beef, have faced criticism for undercooked vegetable pieces and lack of chicken or beef. Chicken tenders can be dry and seem to have been cooked twice.
Although the restaurant looks a bit old and could use some love, the food served is really great. The atmosphere and vibes are notable, making it a fun place to visit for a quick bite. The prices may be a little high for the food served, but customers appreciate the friendly staff and good hospitality, making it a memorable experience. While some may see it as a dive, many enjoy the lively environment and the relaxed, casual dining experience. Overall, it is a dependable place for a meal in Lake Louise Village, especially if you're hungry and looking for a casual spot with good atmosphere.
