“I do like the vibe at this franchise, but my last visit at the St. Albert location left me with a bit of a sour taste in my mouth (not literally). My Dad and I ordered a poutine along with our caesar salad. The Manager came out and told us they were out of cheese curds, which was fine. When I got our bill, we were charges $14 each for a small bowl of poutine that had the incorrect cheese on it. The price on the poutine floored me actually for the size of it. Even with proper cheese curds, that price is steep for the portion. 🤷‍♂️“

“The table was too dark to read the menu. This was at 6:15pm. We all had to turn our cell phones on to see the menu. Table should have had at least a candle or lamp if you don't want the overhead light brighter. 4 of our group of 6 said their dinners were too spicy. The Buffalo chicken bowl was almost inedible. Too hot/overwhelmed the dish. The steak bites cream sauce was way too spicy for both other patrons. The green pesto sauce was perfect.“

“This little neighborhood pub is nothing short of AMAZING. The service is incredible. You truly feel looked after and well taken care of by the staff, and they are all gorgeous 😍. The food is incredible. The wood oven makes such a difference and I LOVE the fact that nothing is deep fried. One of the nest things about this pub is the campfire smell when you walk in the door. The overall atmosphere is welcoming, comfortable, and warm. This is the perfect place to come after a long day of work and on the weekends. I urge EVERYONE to try this place.“

“The steak bites and baked salmon dishes were excellent. As was the breakfast omelette. Very well prepared with decent portion sizes. The staff were excellent. Very courteous and knowledgeable about the menu choices. Glad we chose to eat multiple meals there during our stay at hotel.“

We came in near the end of the night for a bite and a drink, our bartender Ben never once made us feel like we were keeping him, made sure that we had time to order food and kept us company until last call. “Not really one for reviews. But this place has become my new favorite spot. Me and the ol lady absolutely love this place. Big shout out to MICHELLE. But no all of the girls that work there are unmatched. When inside you kind of forget that you on the corner of 118th ave and 97th st. Oh, and I forgot to mention, it's the cheapest wing night in this city. $6 for a pound of wings. You can't go wrong. I definitely recommend stopping in. I may be there.“

“Went with a group yesterday for. Lunch. Server was a gentleman who you could tell really takes pride in what he does. Genuinely friendly, not pushy, but attentive. Great job.

Atmosphere was nice, lots of space, very nice decor, and open space was really appreciated.

Food was a bit of a miss. Had the 1/2 chicken which seemed like a large breast cut in half and then placed on top of one another. Fries were stale and hard to eat.
Warm potato salad was nice with the smashed baby potatoes, however I would have liked more color. More corn & perhaps.some chives or green onions to make it more visually appealing.

“I've been here a couple of times. It's been nice, chill, and usually quiet. There has always been a spot to sit grab a drink and maybe something to munch on. The staff have always treated me pleasantly. There are a couple of pool tables. It feels big and spacious and a decent pub to relax for an evening.“

“Went last night for canada day and I have to say that it was one of the best times I’ve had in a very long time.There were 3 bartenders working Jack, Amy and Mikaylah (hope I spelled that right) and they handled how busy it was with ease. the service was so good considering the busyness. “It's a bar , it's a good bar to get a bunch of people together at , for example a baseball team. The food is OK , good for a bar , don't go there for diner. The waitresses are always nice , every time I have gone there yet not overly friendly. Parking is OK, could get overfilled if for example two baseball teams showed up. The bars capacity looks to be far greater than the parking lot can handle.“

“Have been coming here for years to watch UFC and practically tried everything on their menu. Excellent food, drink and portion sizes at really decent prices. Lots of TV's so almost all seating provides a decent view to watch your favourite events. The owner must treat her staff well as most servers have been there for longer than I can remember.“

“I recently purchased some tools and wire from The Garden Cafe and I'm very happy to say the least. There were some issues with delivery dates and the owner messaged me right away and communicated the issue and solution. They stayed in touch throughout and maintained great communication. When the products arrived they were well packaged and there was no damage. I haven't had the opportunity to use the tools to a great extent as they came after the transplanting window for my trees but they seem to be a great quality along with the wire. I will say that if you're considering a roll up kit, they offer one that is of exceptional quality and great value. I'm really glad I have one now. It's my first time buying bonsai equipment and supplies online and this store did not disappoint. They have some of the best prices and now that I've seen what the product is, I'll be doing my shopping here moving forward!“
