“Been seeing ads for Finn' Kitchen all over. The family and I finally went for dinner. It's at Hilltop Ski area in Anchorage off of Abbott Road.From all the advertising, I thought this was going to be some kind of Bistro or Small restaurant with a brewery type vibe.It's not quite that. But it's close. The live music and patio seating bring it up a notch. Of course the ample choices of beer and other beverages helps as well.If you're hoping for a brewery Food Truck vibe. They are missing the tasty food trucks like Mammoth Cheese Steak, Crazy Deckhand, or others that frequent the local brewery scene in Anchorage.You're left with a small ski slope cafeteria trying to be more than that. We had the Birria tacos, Reuben sandwich, and the Nachos. While my Birria tacos looked like Birria tacos, they were missing all of the flavor. The rest of the food was so so.So overall what really makes Finn's Kitchen a good place to go is the beer and the atmosphere outside. Lots of young families with kids, having a good time listening to music or biking on all the trails.I really feel like Finn's Kitchen needs to step it up and make itself into a more established eatery, that lives up to its excellent and creative marketing. I'm not going to lie I was a little disappointed.“
“I have only been here once but I love this place . The interior is first class ! It's beautiful ! I believe it's family run . I commented on how much I enjoyed my taco and the person I told said it was exactly how his mom made them in Mexico . I was also pleased how nicely they served a single taco . It was a very pleasant and satisfying lunch ! The location is great ! They have a rewards program which I think is very cool . I just signed up ! I highly recommended Rafeletos !“
“Great food… expect to wait forever though. Was told 30-40 minute for my pickup.. showed up after 40 minutes, and was told it would be another 30 minutes. I’ve dined in a couple times before as well and each time took almost an hour to get our food. Time to look for a new pho restaurant.“
“We came here for our anniversary dinner on a Saturday evening. The restaurant wasn't too busy, but was completely full by the time we left around 6:30 pm. It's a hidden gem right in the heart of downtown and a great spot to enjoywan amazing meal. The menu offers vegetarian and vegan options as well as substitutions. We started off with garlic cilantro house fries. The serving was extremely generous for two people and it was delicious with a ton of fresh minced garlic! My husband ordered the 14oz Bootlegger NY Strip. Although he asked for rare and was brought a medium strip, he still thoroughly enjoyed it. The dish itself was very colorful and came with a variety of purees, seasonal vegetables, and house mashed potatoes. I ordered the Vegan Israeli Risotto: israeli garbanzo beans, seasonal vegetables, deep fried oyster mushroom, and seasonal purees (beet, carrot, and pea). It was huge, extremely flavorful, and I absolutely finished the whole thing! Their service was fast and the staff extremely friendly and attentive. Overall an absolutely fantastic experience and we will definitely be coming back!“
“Love this place but they changed the menu. Got rid of the crab nugget bites, which literally one of the main reasons I went. The crab Rangoon they replaced them with are pretty terrible. Strong fishy taste (makes me think old crab?) and weird texture.“
“Very good pizza, I've gone here a lot. The cheese breadsticks are to die for with a glass of their homemade cream soda or root beer. I didn't give it 5 stars for food because sometimes they burn the bottom of the pizza or breadsticks and I ask for them to get redone. The place is very very crowded and busy. Other than that it's my go to for pizza.“
