Starbucks in Anchorage

“I have been going to this Starbucks since it opened ...Laura left as the manager a month ago ...many of the employees stayed thank baby Jesus....I have witnessed the new Manager talk down to many of the long time barrista on a number of occasions . I hope that upper management has a conversation with her approach and her management style needs to be addressed . I appreciate all the employees that work at this location I think she should appreciate them as well .Marie

“By far the best location in town. I will drive across town out of my way for the service and consistency of the baristas and drink preparation compared to other locations. I’m always pleased with my service and appreciate the care the baristas take in their job“

“Coffee and food is solid. Basic Starbucks fare. The service is quick and friendly. Dining area isn't too crowded which is nice. Only issue is that the ambient music is loud enough that you have to raise your voice a bit for conversation. Shame because it could be a very relaxing coffeehouse.“

“Used the drive-thru and it was very fast. They have a new food item but no one could say whether it was GF or not, but while waiting for coffee and the egg bites, they looked it up which was thoughtful. Of course, Starbucks wont say that some thing they serve is gf.“

“Decent drink. The guy behind the counter was busy doing other things and helping the girl who was also working, so I just stood there. Then he's sorta near the register and just stands there and looks at me. No "hello." No,"what can I get for you." Made for a weird interaction. Then he didn't know what the equivalent was for a drink I've gotten at a regular coffee stand. The girl did, though, and answered all the questions I had. She was very helpful and friendly, and the drink she made was good. She saved the service.“

“This Starbucks is located just inside of the Fred Meyer store on Muldoon and Debarr Road of which I am definitely a regular. Just ask Lulu who watches the front door-;-). Looks like this Starbucks stop could use a boost in reviews. Understandable, since I have had the service swing from borderline atrocious to mediocre, to actually quite nice. Inconsistent, yes. Until yesterday. Personally, I have been having a week long day from hell. You know. One of those days that just never seems to end? I had to run some errands, and since I was running on very few hours of sleep, I'm talking I need some coffee, like right now. SHOUT OUT to Janyla!!! Okay. So, she was out of my fave of faves with Starbucks: the heavenly Cold Brew. So, next best thing- an iced coffee with a shot of peppermint. Sure! On a cold and blustery winter's day? Why not? Side note: I tend to bring a line of people with me, and soon Janyla was overwhelmed. HOWEVER! She handled it with the coolest grace I have ever seen in quite some time. Even when she had to call her boss to help walk her through the procedure of loading my Starbucks gift card, she was calm and collected. Janyla! You are the light in the most dreariest of days. Thank you*~“

“Starbucks has a store and a drive-thru, and quite a few customers visited for coffee and simple sandwiches in the morning. I only bought the Starbucks Discovery Series cup here. There are tumblers and mugs that are not commonly found in other stores, and some items are also on clearance sale. I want to visit one more time and try coffee before I leave Anchorage. There aren't a lot of seats in the store, but since most people do to-go, it seems to be enough.“

“I often frequent this location and find all of the baristas very helpful/friendly. Ronnie is the barista I see most often and what a joy. I typically order very basic drinks but they never disappoint ☺️ I also love the little messages they write on the cup lids and leave on their display board. Always a great way to start the day!“

“I can’t love this place enough! The staff is kind, efficient, and fun! They truly go the extra mile with every customer to ensure a great experience. It costs a lot to get a coffee these days, so service like this is crucial. Chance and his crew are the best part of my day every time I swing by for a breve! I’d name then all, but there’s really no one who shouldn’t be recognized. Honestly, I could get a coffee anywhere but I chose this location because of the people working there. I hope corporate sees this and recognizes what a great team they have!“

We decided to grab a couple of coffees at this Starbucks location. It's conveniently located right outside the JBER main exchange, which was great for the military and retired members that were shopping.

The facility was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and professional during our visit. Everything we ordered was served hot and we truly enjoyed our order.“

“My coworker and I go to the Starbucks on Muldoon every week day because of the exceptional team of employees they have there. They greet us every morning with positive hellos, friendly conversation, and delicious coffees. This is the best Starbucks we’ve been to in Alaska! We’re so lucky to work close by them.“

“This Starbucks team is wonderful! As a fellow Starbucks barista, there is nothing wrong with this location. The displays are clean and full; the kiosk is always tidy. The recent bad reviews were completely uncalled for. If a drink isn’t made to your preference, you can avoid a heartache by asking for a remake or even adding extra ingredients. During my last visit, one of the baristas was being trained on drinks, and everything came out perfectly in a timely manner.“

“The Starbucks located inside the Anchorage Alaska Airport is definitely worth a visit. Their staff is incredibly friendly, greeting each customer with warm smiles and making the extra effort to ensure your experience is positive. The Triple Tall Latte is a must-try; the blend of flavors is absolutely delectable and it hits the spot, especially for a post-flight pick-me-up.That being said, the service speed experienced some hiccups during my visit due to some issues with their systems. This led to a slightly longer waiting time than usual.However, considering the quality of the beverage and the exemplary customer service, this minor delay didn't significantly detract from the overall experience.“

“Went today I didn't see the red head I ordered a decaf mocha they had decaf today.I seen the main manager from Fred Meyers in thereI felt a lot better in ordering with him there.I am going to change my rating because of the awesome service today.(Yesterday comment)Went in to get a decaf mocha the red head said they were out of decaf beans.
