“We LOVE El Pastor! The food is delicious whether we eat in or get it to go and the service is great! We ate there tonight and ordered a quesadilla and taco salads. The quesadilla came out a little well done, but we weren't going to complain about it. Maybe 5 minutes later they brought out a replacement and even put the other one in a togo box so we could take it home. We'll definitely be back, but then, we usually eat here at least once a week! 😊“

“Really really good food there. The owner, V put together a killer menu, and she nails everything I've tried. Play some suggestions I would give are definitely tried the fried plantains. The tacos and I absolutely loved the brown stewed chicken. Killer local business, Foodies will love.“

“I’ve traveled extensively across the United States and tried countless pizzas, but after living in Eagle River for nine years, Great Alaska Pizza Co. will always be my top choice whenever I return to visit. Although many people have come and gone from the store since I was younger, my family has a special connection there—we were well-known among the staff. Each visit brings back a sense of being home, and it’s something we truly cherish.

The food is consistently delicious, and I find myself missing it whenever I have to order from elsewhere. Their Hawaiian pizza with mushrooms is simply unbeatable!“

“We came to Jimmy’s Sushi for the first time in years… I don’t know why we forgot about this gem! Everything we ordered was delicious! You know the food is good when your pre-schooler avoids the rice for the rest of his bento box! I ordered the Penang curry after recommendations from the server that it was gluten free and it was delectable! My husband has his typical favorite, the General Tso and thoroughly enjoyed it. The knowledgeable staff to accommodate my need for gluten free food was impressive and SO appreciated. I’m ready to come back to Jimmy’s asap.“

“We order from here at LEAST once every two weeks. Pretty much always the ribs and salad. We have been doing this for years. Food is great, but you would think after being a very regular customer, that the service would be better. For example- say hello by name when you realize it's the SAME couple making their regular order to the same house. Maybe offer a free dessert or soda? I am big on customer service and although the ribs are great, the service needs to be more friendly.“

“This is our families go to for food in Eagle River. My kids birthday dinner…they want Kim’s! I didn’t want to cook dinner…Kim’s! We want a variety of different food…Kim’s! Even when they are jam packed, their service is quick, everyone’s nice, and you feel like you’re home. So if you haven’t checked this place out yet you need to!“

“Unfortunately, several items in our order had issues. The burgers were burnt, the fries were soggy, and the chicken strips were dry. The cheese curds were the biggest disappointment — they arrived as one large clump sitting in a pool of brown oil, with no resemblance to actual curds. The pizza was okay, but not enough to make up for the rest of the order. Everything had a strong taste of old fryer oil. I’ve heard mixed reviews about this place, so hopefully this was just an off night.“
