“This was a stop on our trip to the arctic. I am not going to be negative on a review for a restaurant like this one. There are many folks thankful that it is there. It has a lot to offer from a meal to gas and maybe a souvenir. Truckers appreciate the location and a chance for a break from the road.“

“Hidden gem in Fairbanks! I've been thrice now (shout out to Rose Nylund) and this is easily the best Thai north of the 49th Parallel. Inside a local bar, this walk-up window has consistently fantastic curries. The green curry is perfection. Zucchini, bell peppers, bamboo and your choice of meat.
Generous portions and excellent quality keep me coming back. I'm sure everything on the menu is great, but I keep getting the curries!
There are a few dine-in tables you can eat at after your order comes up as well. I just uploaded the most recent complete menu on this listing.
Don't miss this place when you're in Fairbanks!“

“Just left this location on Valentines Day from out of state and food was impeccable! So grateful this restaurant took my reservation last week via Facebook messenger. Effortless! Great service!“

“What an awesome experience! We sat at the bar and met the owner/bartender/chef Larry. We each had a couple of cocktails and deviled eggs, which were amazing. We met some locals as well and all the food looked great. Thanks you Larry and locals for a great time“

“Atmosphere is like a good ‘ol American diner with a trucker vibe to it. Very friendly staff, and great meals. The Boo-boo burger was delicious with its jalapeños, mushrooms, teriyaki sauce, and everything else that comes with a usual burger. They also sell merchandise as well. Would recommend!“

“The food is great. Our waitress was sweet. Waiting for our food, was nearly an hour. BOTH bartenders completely ignored me, much less, served me. We are locals, that make it in several times a year. The service has gotten progressively slower, and waitstaff seem disorganized. We love this place, and we realize, it's for sale. Hmm. First thing I would do? DITCH the DOORDASH BS, and concentrate on SERVING the customers who actually drive out.“
“Went there today! Food was great!!!“

“10-15-24: I can no longer list this as one of the top 5 biscuits and gravy places in Fairbanks area. Today's meal was not pleasant. Gravy was good but biscuits were not biscuits, but a cornbread style that was very dry. I was very disappointed.
Best biscuits and gravy in Fairbanks! Great food and great service!“
“Thank you to the staff and patrons of Tony's Sports Bar for the great time last Sunday! We were visiting from Wisconsin and stopped in to cheer on the Packers💚💛We felt very welcomed and received tips to visit the classic car museum which my FIL loved!! Alaska was a bucket list trip for us, but if we ever return, I would love to stop in at Tony's again!!“

“I can’t say enough about this place. It helped provide entertainment, great food, and great drinks while we waited for our next Alaskan adventure during our week long visit. I have to give a very special shout-out to Denaeuh. If you get a chance, don’t leave Fairbanks without spending time with her at the bar in Pike’s Landing restaurant. She’s a genuine person with outstanding customer service and hospitality. Her drinks, food recommendations, service, and conversation were excellent! If/when we come back, we will seek out this restaurant and service with Denaeuh. Overall… I highly recommend. It’s a great place!“

“Over the last few weeks I have thoroughly enjoyed investigating the menus at the Princess Hotel, but I owe you all an apology for taking so long to make a post about it. You have about one month until they close for the season and you need to put them into your regular rotation.
I have eaten twice at the Edgewater, once at Trackers, and last night out on the deck.
I have had the gnocchi twice because it is so good, a chicken sandwich, and halibut with a curry coconut sauce. And every time except for my lunch visit I have gotten the rosemary rolls - I am going to have withdrawals from those this winter - amazing!!
They maintain a large garden behind the restaurant - more on that in a minute - and the the menu features the garden including fresh salads. Last night we had a kale salad with sesame dressing that I will be back for. I have topped off a few of the meals with their amazing blueberry Baked Alaska. Share it as it is a large portion! Or don't share it because it is so good!
Oh, and the garden? Last night we planned to get there early for dinner so as to take a stroll. We went from the parking lot back out towards the road and then into the trails on the property. We went all the way around the back, which included a wonderful little tour of the beautiful garden plots, a good way to work up both an appetite and an appreciation of the freshness to come.
The chef, Christopher, is so enthusiastic about what he has done there with the menu this summer. Bonus if you get to chat with him for a few minutes. His joy in what he does is reflected in all of the amazing waitstaff that I have had in my visits. I now have to figure out how to fit a few more dinners into my budget before they close in mid September.“

“Great buffet breakfast, plenty of choices. Reindeer sausage is on the menu, really tasty. They seat you. Located inside the Westmark hotel. We had super good service. The waitress(SHOUT OUT) was very informative, a wealth of info. She was glad to see us when said we were from Maryland. She was born in Maryland.“

“Had the 2×2×2 and blueberry waffle with whipped cream. Don't mind my creamer in the back ground, I like a little coffee with my creamer. We love their breakfast foods. Haven't tried any of the other.
Kid-friendliness: Not very kid friendly. My son is 3 and cant speak yet and we was ordering our food and my son was making loud noises trying to order and the waiter told him to stop. And another time she told us not to let our kids make a mess before when even got our food. Granted, I understand he was loud and kids can be missy but it was not her place to step in. We've been here three times and had one rude waiter. They do have booster seats and high chairs.“

“The dining experience here is pretty consistent. On occasion the food is a miss but 90% of the time it is worth the money. The staff is usually friendly and pleasant. I do not recall ever having a bad serving experience, though at times service has been slow due to volume.
In my opinion, Food Factory is a solid option to dine-in for a relaxed meal. It is almost sports bar-ish with the large TVs, but no bar. It has that relaxed vibe.“

“Walking around Fairbanks by the river we discovered Salty’s and so happy we went in. We had the Bruchetta and it was absolutely wonderful! Could have been my meal! Then we shared the 1/2 pound cheeseburger with fries and onion rings. So so good!!!“

“A must stop when in downtown Fairbanks. We were lucky enough to wander into it. The owner was in as well and was super enthusiastic about people stopping in and he loved telling about the business and his family history in Alaska.
I had the spicy reindeer sausage with fries, pricey but good!“

“Interesting atmosphere that displays Alaskan tradition. My pasta wasn’t very good. Was expecting a mouthful of flavor based on the description in the menu. However, very bland; that goes for the cheese and grilled chicken.
Our waitress was great. She was the highlight of the visit.“
“Can't comment on the food but Alexandra the bartender absolutely made the last night of our hard earned vacation worth it. It was undoubtedly busy, but she was hustling with CVS receipt long tickets, handling the bar and two restaurants by her self. To the management, you needs a barback. Several tables were upset with service but as far as I could tell it was a staffing issue, not the employees themselves. Thank you for a fine farewell from Alaska!“

“Best anniversary dinner I could have asked for being at Latitude 65! Chef curated a perfect menu for the Meals on Wheels fundraiser. Everything about this restaurant is perfection. Absolute best place to eat in Fairbanks, no competition. Will definitely become regulars when they reopen in August. Thank you to everyone at Latitude 65 who made our experience memorable last night!“

“Food was great, we had cheesesteaks, service was fast and friendly. Only thing I can really complain about is the bartender used Bloody Mary mix instead of tomato juice for the red beer. Snuck a peak in the kitchen and it was cleaner than mine (figure that one out) but we enjoyed our dinner.“

“Great dining experience in Fairbanks. I loved the prime rib and felt it was some of the best in town. The fish and chips were amazing. Glad it is a regular restaurant now where you don’t feel you need to stuff yourself to get your money’s worth.“
