“I don’t get summit coffee as much as I would like living out in North Pole, but anytime I’m in the area I try to stop. The cold brew is always sooo smooth, they always have a great kicker combo for someone that doesn’t know what they want also! The pine berry and pomegranate the other day was *chefs kiss*! The fresh juices have always been a favorite of mine, so refreshing and just make you feel good.
I can’t say I’ve ever had a bad food item from them either! Always so so good!“

“Mocha Moose Express is seriously my most favorite hut in Fairbanks 🫎😭💕☕️ I’m so happy they now have 2 locations! 🤗 The baristas are always so friendly + personable, the food + drinks are always spot on, and the possibilities for drink combos are endless! I always have to look on Mocha Moose Express’ page/stories for drink ideas, because they can make pretty much anything you want 🤪🤗💕 HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone looking for a yummy pick-me-up! ⭐️“
“Best coffee shop in Fairbanks hands down. I have 4 gift cards in my wallet to other places around town and never use them because backwoods coffee is perfect every single time. I order a 16oz white mocha, half sweet, extra shot everywhere I go and backwoods tastes the best!! Most coffee shops in town are entirely too sweet. Glad they have two locations now 😀“

“Walked up to it because I needed my ice cream fix ? even though it was freezing cold out. Its very hard to find ice cream out here in Fairbanks, so I’ll take what I can get.

“Updated menu as of November 2023.Ordered the loaded burrito. It was loaded indeed with too much cheese. The horchata coffee special was good, but the flavor definitely overpowered the taste of coffee or not sure if there was even coffee in it. I just assumed since it said "coffee special".“

“UPDATE: I cannot locate my original review, it wasn't good, 2 stars. Ugly sandwich pic that I have now deleted. These folks asked me to reach out. I did. We all agreed, bad sandwich. They gave me a gift card refund with a little plus. I returned to the hut of the original review (Sadlers parking lot) I placed the same order. The food was lovely this time. See pic for evidence. And I'd have raised my stars up to 4. But today, the gal there really connected with me for a minute and really lifted me up. She absolutely did not have to do that. And for that, I give 5 stars! Thank you so much! ?“

“Stopped here after an unexpected overnight stay in Fairbanks. Had been suggested to try this place on the way out of town in the morning and it was wonderful. Friendly staff, patient while we sorted through the menu. Coffee and food was delightful.“

“Kyra’s smile and willingness to accommodate my quirky order this morning was the perfect start for my day. Not to mention…excellent coffee served at that exact temperature where coffee should be…hot but not scalding. They are quick, so the line of regulars seems to move very fast.“

“They have consistently good coffees and the sandwiches are yummy too. This is our go to shop because we always get a good product, it's fast due to being well staffed (2-4girls). Plus they have a rewards card for frequent visitors 😃“

“A very tasty brunch spot serving sandwhiches, scones, cookies, and more. Plenty of delicious, local ingredients and the staff are very nice. It would be amazing if there could be a way to have sandwiches on Saturday, as right now (tasty!) calzones are offered instead. The homemade lemonade is delicious!“

“Great people, great service, great tasting food and best of all if anything is wrong they will bend over backwards to fix it and make sure your experience is the best.
Vegetarian options: Egg white roasted red pepper egg bites, kale and mushroom egg bites, spinach feta and egg white wrap, and all the pastries they offer.
Kid-friendliness: The baristas are great with kids. The baristas go out of their way to help kids place their orders and will even make the kids feel special by calling out their names when their items are ready.
