“We grabbed takeout from the Fat Al’s location in downtown Daphne and overall had a good experience. The fry portions are very generous. Definitely enough to split between two people, which is a big plus. My husband ordered the Classic burger and loved the flavor. He did say that next time he will go for the double patty, as one just wasn’t quite enough for him. My mother and I both built our own burgers. Hers was perfect, exactly as ordered, and she said she would happily get it again. Unfortunately, mine wasn’t built quite right. The receipt on the bag correctly said no cheese, but the burger itself had cheese melted into the patty. I’m unable to eat cheese on my burgers, so I couldn’t enjoy it. I did really enjoy the fries though. Based on how much my family enjoyed their meals, I would absolutely be willing to try Fat Al’s again. With the flavors we experienced, I just need the order to be spot on next time.“

“Giving this Sonic 5 stars as it’s the best one I’ve ever eaten at. I was staying at the Holiday Inn next door and ate there twice. Had the double bacon cheeseburger one night and Texas toast breakfast sandwiches the next night. Food was really good and the service also. Will eat there again when back in town for work.“

“My first visit here, breakfast ordered online on 6/30/26. I went in to pick up and the two ladies taking their break were really nice and said hello.
I picked up my bag and they had a nice smile as I left.
Nowadays that means so much for the workers to acknowledge you nicely.
The food was great, the biscuits were fresh and delicious.
The place was clean and bright.
Will definitely get breakfast again.“

Interior design: 8/10

The interior is modern and of rustic feeling, with warm lighting invoking a calm, comfortable atmosphere.

Exterior design: 5/10

While it is the standard look of the 2006 mass rebranding effort, it is important to note the slight differences do to this building being an older location that was remodeled to adhere to corporate demands. But other than that it’s standard and as such the rating is in the middle.

Amenities: 9/10

While nothing in particular stands out, there is a larger amount of seating then standard, including outdoor seating which isn’t a feature I see very often anymore do to McDonalds making a effort to remove that option for customers, however this particular location managed to retain its outdoor amenities.

Service: 10/10

I have nothing to say other than the service is lightning fast, we managed to get our order of multiple things in under 5 minutes, and they didn’t get a single thing wrong about our order either, and the quality of the food was far better than any McDonalds I have ever eaten at in my life, everything was perfectly prepared and served at a perfect temperature.

Cleanliness: 9/10

Again, not much for this because it is surprisingly difficult to elaborate on how clean a table is, but I digress, the entire restaurant was very clean and well maintained, and while I won’t go into as much detail with the restroom’s, they are clean as well. Throughout my entire 25 minutes there I failed to find even a crumb, the only trash was the occasional receipt though they are ridden of quickly.

Access: 9/10

There are two entrances, both of which are very accessible for any sized car up to something roughly twice the dimensions of a Chevy suburban, one entrance faces out towards the main road while the other is accessible via a road connected to the casino. So unless you’re driving a tank you should be fine.
