“We've been visiting Boondocks for years. It's literally out in the boonies, but worth the drive. The steak is so much better than any big steakhouse in town. BBQ is perfect. Some of the sides are a little bland open-can style, but I've never had issue eating them. The servers are busy but always friendly. The atmosphere is "hole in the wall" but is clearly maintained and clean. Tiny bathroom, but clean. Few more flies inside in the summer, but it's Alabama...can't fault them. They have the door blower to try and prevent, but again it's Bama and there's flies. Nice outdoor seating option when the weather is nice. Menu is a nice variety and easily one that anyone in your party will find something to enjoy. From Catfish, burgers, steak, and ribs. Can't go wrong.“
