I have enjoyed 10+ tex-mex joints in Texas for all these years.
But this little shop is by far one of the most authentic and filling place.
Flavorful steak, crispy fried shrimp and tender chicken.

“do not eat here thay cooked my food while cleaning the grill ,I am 63 with stomach problems ,it made me sick after I swolled. the first bite ,I call the owner that done no good he didn't care if it made me and my wife sick or not and good as called me lier so no I will never go there again and you shouldnt and I think thay done it just because I call in a late order .”

“Typical Waffle House, which isn't a bad thing. We love the waffles. The grits were cooked perfectly. Hashbrowns crispy. Our server was Choo Choo, and he was very nice & attentive.”

“As a Louisiana native, born and raised I am very happy to say TJ’s crawfish were perfect. I would drive home (Louisiana) every weekend just to get crawfish. I am so glad I gave them a try & I no longer have to go back home just for crawfish. The crawfish were big in size and seasoned to perfection. The shrimp po boy was everything my sister and I were looking for in flavor. Customer service was top tier.. we will be back!”

“Stopped for a bathroom break and smelled the food all the way outside. Hubbie had the smoked wings, greens and baked beans. I had ribs, Mac n cheese and chicken and broccoli casserole. Everything was delicious and hot! We are determined to stop back on the way from Nola!”

“I had a small family gathering on Saturday and ordered dinner from this restaurant. We called in a decent sized order, which was cooked quickly and to perfection. I picked it up and went home to enjoy my food. Let me tell you, it was delicious, and the portions were large enough that I had leftovers! I would highly recommend this location( next to Winn Dixie at 5 Points) for fast service and great tasting food!!”

“The Tuscaloosa Skyland franchise is very well run. I tried to order online on my app, but for some reason kept getting an error message. I called the manager took my order and even gave me the20% discount I would have received for ordering online.
When I got there I was greeted by the manager and she was just finishing up my order. It was hot and ready to go. Thanks for the great service and good food as usual”

Unsure who Mrs. J is, but apparently she enjoys being rude when half of your order is left off. Ordering over $40 worth of food and getting home to some of it missing & sending my son back up there to get what was left off only for him to be spoken to like he’s an idiot and lying about it. I have no reason to lie about all the sides being left off the family meal I ordered. It’s so hit or miss at this location..”

“I want to give a shout out to Teresa at Burger King on Skyland Blvd I went inside about lunch time and she was running the drive-thru and the front and bagging orders all by her self she was doing the job of 3 people she deserves a raise took about 5-6 minutes to get my order but she was very polite and the food was great she really deserves a raise”
