“I am challenged eating out as I have a dairy allergy and am used to settling on my order (salad again...) but lo and behold- I found a dish that was 110% delicious and didn't need any tweaking. The miso glazed salmon is a winner!!! Giant kudos to the chef for understanding the challenges of food allergy sufferers...I finally felt like I wasn't at the "kids table." BRAVO! I will be back!”

“We were driving through town around dinner and stumbled across Zazu via yelp reviews and decided to give it a try. Best.decision.ever. Our server Tony was polite and professional. He provided awesome service. We started out with the poutine which was rich and flavorful. For entrees I had the smash burger and my son had the pimento cheese burger. We couldn’t decide which we liked better but we both agreed these were easily some of the best burgers we’ve ever had. Thank you Zazu for an amazing meal!”

“Had today speciality pizza, GreenWave! Absolutely delicious! Best pizza my wife and I have had in years. Then we shred the 8 hot parm wings and fries. Also delicious, perfectly cooked (slightly crispy) and homemade fries are also delicious. We will be back on our travel through here. ”

“My favorite spot to stop at after dinner in downtown Opelika. They make a spectacular rye. Usual end up taking a bottle home. I'd highly recommend stopping by this place, especially if you want a break from craft beer. Grab a smoked old fashioned and relax in one of those big leather chairs. 🍸”

“Was just there this Saturday (May 10)... Just moved up from Tampa and was hungry for pizza.... My daughter and I chose Doughs.... The pizza was fantastic and watching the chefs create and toss the pizza gave it a nice homey feeling. Will definitely be back to enjoy more!!!!!!”

“Great food, the rolls are to die for, a cross between a donut and a dinner roll. I had the Shepherd's pie and it was good and came as a large portion enough for two. I also got the fries as an appetizer and these were thick cut fries that were crispy plus, not burned or hard just very crispy almost like a chip with a soft center, really excellent. The service was friendly, albeit a bit slow. We waited almost 15 minutes before a server came by for our drink order, but as we had not been in a hurry it did not matter at the time. The restaurant has a nice neighborhood pub feel to with sports on all the televisions.”

My family just lost someone very near and dear to our hearts and we needed to make sure everyone was fed and no one had to worry about spending hours in the kitchen. I called and placed a fairly large order with only a day notice. I was sure this would be impossible. However, these people were so kind and accommodating and made it happen without hesitation.
