Today, we left San Antonio Texas at 430am to head for Atlanta Ga to attend the funeral of my uncle who passed away on Saturday. we needed something comforting so here we are, enjoying the sunset, the amazing filet and shrimp, and the friendliness and good southern hospitality of our server, Lauren. It's the perfect dish. Fresh Crab, the rice is perfection and would make southern food enthusiasts like Sean Brock ask for seconds. We'll done!“

“Stopped in late Friday evening. The staff was very courteous! The food and drinks were amazing!! We had the Fried Calamari with squid ink, delicious! Our entree was the Pork Chop sandwich. It was very flavorful and just right for sharing.

“My granddaughter and I recently dined at Chuck’s Fish to celebrate her graduation. The food, drinks and atmosphere were excellent. We had kimchi Brussels, uptown shrimp, and a delicious sushi roll. Then we really did it up big with the white chocolate bread pudding. The staff went above and beyond. Very friendly and attentive. Can’t say enough about how delicious the meal was. One of the owners came to our table and checked on us to make sure we were being taken care of, which we were. I would highly, highly recommend this place!!!“

“Best pizza in Mobile! Their crust is amazing. You can also create your own pizza and they have a choice of pesto, olive oil and garlic, or traditional tomato sauce. My favorite is pesto with mushrooms, spinach, roasted garlic, fresh tomatoes, black and green olives and artichokes. I sometimes add Italian sausage. It’s the best pizza! I always get 2 because people always say “yuck” when they ask what’s on it but then they want to try it and the next thing I know my pizza is gone ❣️❣️“

“Delish! What a great little spot we found on our first night in town. Fresh gyros, chicken sandwiches, soups and sides. We were told the carbonara orzo side was the best and it truly was. The 2 young guys working were friendly, outgoing and truly a joy to talk with. staff was awesome. We had made tried the sausage they used before and they gave us a sample, as well as the soups and oh my gosh, they were divine. If we had more room or lived locally, we would have taken a quart or two of either one of the soups: today there was a taco soup and a beef noodle one. I highly recommend either one. Everything was fresh, serving sizes were adequate and prices were fair. If you are in the area, check it out; you won't be disappointed.“

“Went yesterday for lunch. Service (Brent) was excellent. He was attentive but not intrusive. Had to explain certain items on the menu which he did without hesitation. Had fish and chips. Excellent. Would definitely recommend. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Can’t wait to go back and try other items on menu.“

“Pour baby is not just wine, it’s great food as well. My husband and I had a charcuterie board and an appetizer as well as wine. The chicken martini and chicken and grits were perfect! Light, but very filling. Our waitress was Madelyn and she chose my 2 glasses of red wine. They paired with the cheese and meat and my entrée perfectly. I highly recommend pour baby.
Side note, it’s a great low key, laid back vibe, casual attire, smaller seating area. Call for reservations ahead. Ask for Madelyn, she knows her wines and food paring“

“Drive from Bay Springs MS to Mobile for supper last night. Found the restaurant through an internet sesrch, with no prior knowledge. Walked in, was seated immediately. The waitress was very pleasant and took our order and brought our drinks immediately. Bread and salad was out quickly, when that was finished, the main course was there. All very efficient and quick. The wife got a ribeye, medium well, it was grilled to perfection with a good smoky flavor I had fried shrimp, onion rings and sweet potato casserole. They came with cocktail, tartar and comeback sauces. Shrimp were fried to perfection and I think this may have been the best onion rings I’ve ever had. Generous portions. And when we got our bill, it did not break the bsnk. Very reasonable. Would not hesitate to go back or to recommend this place to anyone. Great experience.“

“Got breakfast here and it was absolutely fantastic. I got an omelet with grits and a biscuit and it was probably the best I’ve had in a while. My wife and daughter got a pancake with eggs, sausage, and grits and the portions are insane. The amount of food you get for the price is excellent, you can definitely leave here with a full belly for cheap. Will definitely be back to try the Mediterranean food, as it looks amazing as well.“

“I took my 2 kids (8 and 13) here on a random, sporadic dinner. Upon entering the small, quaint restaurant, we were very nicely greeted by the staff. The few customers there also gave friendly nods and welcoming gestures. Very friendly atmosphere. I ordered the filet and shrimp hibachi. It was awesome. My filet was extremely tender, juicy and delicious. The shrimp tasted very fresh. Don’t seem to be imported. My daughter ordered steak and shrimp hibachi she devoured it and left nothing behind. My son ordered tuna nigiri and said it was excellent. My daughter tried a piece of his nigiri for the first time and said it was really good. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be returning the next time we’re in the area.“

“I ordered a to go order for my mother who is on hospice. I got home with the order and found out that I had only been given half the order, which was all fried. I wasn't very happy that I had to go back and get what I ordered for my mother, which was a bowl of gumbo. I called and let them know they hadn't given me what I wanted, and they started saying that I hadn't ordered it, to which I responded that was the first thing I ordered. So I went back and got the gumbo and told them that they hadn't given me the bread pudding, either. The guy went to the kitchen to get it, but it took 15 minutes for him to bring it to me, and he had apparently waited for someone else's order before bringing my bread pudding. I am very, very disappointed in the service I received at this location and may never return. Yes, I am a local who has been there more times than I can remember. For you to have been in business for so many years, I expected much better service. This is not how you stay in business.“

“got the pulled pork sandwich. meat had ZERO flavor and was as dry as boomer humor. the seasoning sauce was water scared with garlic powder. potato salad was disrespectfully disgusting. banana pudding was watery and the bananas were black. green beans were dumped from a can and had less seasoning than printer paper. Mac and cheese was essentially just pasta in a cheese water sauce and the atrocity of what they dare to call sweet tea was an insult to all southerners. get a better staff too. they carried a conversation and it was quite clear they wanted to keep talking when I was approaching. the lady at the pickup register talked over me and was obviously annoyed to be at work.“

“We had lunch at Azteca’s Saraland and had the best server! Annsley was so sweet and left a beautiful Bible verse on our check receipt. We definitely need more people like her & it was refreshing to have such great service!“

“First meal, after getting to Meaher State Park, and it was great. Gator bites, shrimp-n-grits, and snow crab legs - OMG! The service was fantastic and, although there were several people present, it wasn't noisy at all. It was a very relaxing and delicious meal. We will be back before we leave.“
