“Happened to be in the area for anniversary getaway, booked a last minute reservation, no expectations and left feeling like royalty. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like the evening was crafted just for us. It started with a champagne toast that set the tone for what would become one of the most memorable meals of our lives.

The Beef Tartare and Tuna Sashimi were flawless, fresh, flavorful, and plated like art. Then came the Porter House Steak, cooked medium rare with absolute precision. Oh, the sides. The Pork Belly Sweet Corn was decadent, and the Blue Mac and Cheese? We’re not exaggerating when we say it was the best mac and cheese we’ve ever had, and we’ve eaten our way across continents. If they ever start shipping it, we’ll be first in line.

Dessert was a showstopper: the Thirteen Layers Chocolate Cake was rich and indulgent, and the complimentary chocolate-covered strawberries to celebrate our anniversary were the sweetest touch, literally and emotionally.

“We got there at 9pm, thinking they closed at 10. They close at 9:30 on Sundays. They were SO kind to us. The owner/manager came out to our table to make sure everything was to our liking, our waitress was amazing. We got the red snapper, surf and turf, sushi, lobster Mac and firecracker shrimp. Everything was delicious. The macaroni by itself on the surf & turf plate was the best Mac and cheese I have ever had. Lobster Mac was amazing. Steak was perfectly cooked. The fish was the best I’ve ever had. The way they told us we could stay as long as we like. We were tired from the beach so we left about 9:40 but wow, I’ll never forget this place! Instead of being annoyed, they treated us like gold.“

Our party tried the crab and artichoke dip, the beer cheese dip, chicken Caesar salad, pimento cheeseburger, fresh catch (red snapper), hot Nashville chicken, and two desserts to share. “I tried the Tin Top for the first time today (lunch on a Saturday), I was dining alone, as I really just stopped by to check the place out. We are opening an Airbnb about a half mile for the restaurant and want to be able to recommend it to our guests. Food was pretty good, I had a basic hamburger and slice of key lime pie, I think that their dinners may be more impressive, as it is a popular spot. They have all you can eat on Wednesday, I believe it was mullet and catfish. They had a prime rib special on the board for $34. Overall it was a pleasant experience, however it took the staff 5 minutes to acknowledge I was there, they asked if I would like to be seated at the bar, when I declined the girl gave me a bit of an irritated vibe, she wasn’t rude, but just let her annoyance show a little, i was one person taking a full 4 top table. Once seated, it took my actual server at least 5-6 minutes to get to my table, she was very sweet, and super friendly. She got my order and bring my drink, she did a nice job of keeping my drink glass full, but my meal was delivered (by someone else) with no burger toppings whatsoever, just a burger on a bun with cheese… at $14 a little lettuce, tomato pickle etc is nice. It took her a while to come back and she actually noticed that it was a bare naked burger and fries, offered to run back and get toppings, that took another 5 minutes, bu this time my food was cold. When she stopped back she had my bill, but had not brought my pie (I preordered it with my food). She picked up the bill added the pie and you guessed it, it took her a really long time to come back with the pie, like almost 10 minutes. The pie is just key lime pie, it was not the best I have had and certainly by no means the worst, it doesn’t have any whip cream on it and it is a pretty small slice for $8. After I finished my pie it took a long time again to get my updated bill, and I actually had to grab her and just hand her my cr card to pay so I could leave. It took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to have lunch (1 person) it wasn’t real busy, I would say probably 60% capacity, and it was lunch not dinner, on a Saturday afternoon. I will definitely try this place again, as the food warrants a redo, but if the service is the same, this would not be a repeat for a 3rd visit, it good food, but not good enough to be sooo slow.“

We were so impressed with the huge menu, the fabulous food, and the amazing service, we went back several times while we were there. Everyone there was so nice. “My daughter and I were there with her 10yr old golden. Of course we asked for outside seating, and were told an hour wait. Hostess did not get my phone # correct so when I didn’t get the welcome text I went back in. Another hostess changed it and neither one apologized for their mistake. Never broke a smile. Sooo we wait, and wait. Watched so many be brought in who clearly had not been there longer than us, empty outside tables with no one sitting there. I went back to the hostess stand to see how much longer, “it could be 3min or 15”, really. We finally got a table after an hour and 35min. We were put at the table next to the steps coming out on the patio, while there were two more tables open on the outside corner of the patio. Out of the line of traffic. Our golden was almost stepped on several times (one being the rude hostess) and the constant jarring of the ppl coming up and down the steps was very annoying. Imagine trying to enjoy a meal that you have waited two hours for and your table bouncing around. Our waitress was great and the food was excellent! Hostesses need to learn some manners as to how to be polite.“

I told her we had and walked back into the store so she could confirm.
