“I had the quesabirria tacos and they were amazing. My wife had the puffy tacos and they were not great. The seemed a bit over cooked and dry. The atmosphere was amazing. The had a great band playing live music, very well I might add. The drums were hand drums so it wasn’t too loud. The waitress was not super attentive, but was still very sweet. I think they were short handed. I drive by all the time and this is the first time we have eaten here. I’m a huge fan of the quesabirria and these are among the best I’ve ever had.“

“Best Burgers in Alabama!! Love this layed back place.. it’s been at this location for many years. They sometimes have bands playing. Bring your dog and your kids they have video games they can play… I don’t like beer however they bring it to you in a pitcher you can keep. Fun place bring the kids and the dogs. “I tried the Tin Top for the first time today (lunch on a Saturday), I was dining alone, as I really just stopped by to check the place out. We are opening an Airbnb about a half mile for the restaurant and want to be able to recommend it to our guests. Food was pretty good, I had a basic hamburger and slice of key lime pie, I think that their dinners may be more impressive, as it is a popular spot. They have all you can eat on Wednesday, I believe it was mullet and catfish. They had a prime rib special on the board for $34. Overall it was a pleasant experience, however it took the staff 5 minutes to acknowledge I was there, they asked if I would like to be seated at the bar, when I declined the girl gave me a bit of an irritated vibe, she wasn’t rude, but just let her annoyance show a little, i was one person taking a full 4 top table. Once seated, it took my actual server at least 5-6 minutes to get to my table, she was very sweet, and super friendly. She got my order and bring my drink, she did a nice job of keeping my drink glass full, but my meal was delivered (by someone else) with no burger toppings whatsoever, just a burger on a bun with cheese… at $14 a little lettuce, tomato pickle etc is nice. It took her a while to come back and she actually noticed that it was a bare naked burger and fries, offered to run back and get toppings, that took another 5 minutes, bu this time my food was cold. When she stopped back she had my bill, but had not brought my pie (I preordered it with my food). She picked up the bill added the pie and you guessed it, it took her a really long time to come back with the pie, like almost 10 minutes. The pie is just key lime pie, it was not the best I have had and certainly by no means the worst, it doesn’t have any whip cream on it and it is a pretty small slice for $8. After I finished my pie it took a long time again to get my updated bill, and I actually had to grab her and just hand her my cr card to pay so I could leave. It took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to have lunch (1 person) it wasn’t real busy, I would say probably 60% capacity, and it was lunch not dinner, on a Saturday afternoon. I will definitely try this place again, as the food warrants a redo, but if the service is the same, this would not be a repeat for a 3rd visit, it good food, but not good enough to be sooo slow.“

“My daughter and I were there with her 10yr old golden. Of course we asked for outside seating, and were told an hour wait. Hostess did not get my phone # correct so when I didn’t get the welcome text I went back in. Another hostess changed it and neither one apologized for their mistake. Never broke a smile. Sooo we wait, and wait. Watched so many be brought in who clearly had not been there longer than us, empty outside tables with no one sitting there. I went back to the hostess stand to see how much longer, “it could be 3min or 15”, really. We finally got a table after an hour and 35min. We were put at the table next to the steps coming out on the patio, while there were two more tables open on the outside corner of the patio. Out of the line of traffic. Our golden was almost stepped on several times (one being the rude hostess) and the constant jarring of the ppl coming up and down the steps was very annoying. Imagine trying to enjoy a meal that you have waited two hours for and your table bouncing around. Our waitress was great and the food was excellent! Hostesses need to learn some manners as to how to be polite.“

At first the entrance was a little confusing because it is off the highway and in a golf and residential community. The signage could be a bit larger or more plentiful, but like most people, Google Maps and Waze will lead you straight to the front door.Walked in and was greeted immediately. The barista was extremely helpful and patient. Recommended the Brown Sugar Latte, and had plenty of non-dairy options. The coffee was amazing! Also order the Classic Bagel breakfast, which was 2 eggs any style, crispy back (YEA!!) and real cheddar cheese. So many options for different breakfast sandwiches and bagels. And they have Conecuh sausage! Has pastries and plenty of sweet treats. The view is of the 1st tee box and the 18th green. Excellent spot for an adult beverage, plenty of coffee options and a full breakfast and lunch menu.“

That being said, MANY people have recommended this buffet, and it is really busy during peak meal hours, so apparently I am in the minority on how delicious Public buffet is. Atmosphere is typical, but it is very clean. Staff is friendly and attentive any time I am there.
