“Dragon City Chinese is located off Hiway 59 s in Foley Alabama at the end of a small strip mall.
Fast ordering service, a few tables inside but mostly set up for to go orders. Made fresh to order. Very clean.
We had the mushu chicken which is delicious and a lot for leftovers or enough to share and the Mongolian chicken was also plentiful. We also had crab rangoons. Some meals come with steamed white rice and egg roll.
No MSG and I can tell by the way the food tastes and I didn’t get a headache afterwards. Drinks are self serve. Handicap parking and entrance. Great for a quick bite or take home to feed an army. Lunch specials available. Not an atmosphere place place
I will Definitely go there again as the Chinese restaurants around here are not that great in my opinion and I’ve tried most of them.
Parking: Ample
Kid-friendliness: Yed

“The best service ever. The manager is above the best. My husband and I work late and we've come in twice just before closing to find my favorite all gone. And both times he has cooked it up for us with complaints. They are so sweet. All the staff and so friendly. By far my favorite place.“

“The service is terrible and the food is just ok. Do not order the hot tea here, it tastes like dish water. We were visiting the area and wanted a good Chinese buffet. I wish we had gone elsewhere.“

“This is the best value for the money, hands down! Lunch specials under $9 - complete dinners have entree, noodles, rice, soup and egg roll for under $15 - very delicious. Has good selection for vegetarians as well - highly recommend!“

“Public Buffet is a dependable choice when you want variety and value. The buffet offers a wide selection of Chinese dishes, including seafood, sushi, vegetables, and classic favorites, making it easy for everyone to find something they enjoy. The dining area is spacious and comfortable, the food is consistently fresh, and service is attentive for a buffet-style restaurant. It’s a great spot for families, groups, or anyone looking for a relaxed meal with plenty of options.“

“This was one of the only places open on Christmas & we were so thankful for it. The people were working hard & I felt doing their best. My family & I visited on Christmas vacation. The teriyaki, sweet & sour and sesame chicken and rice were good.“

“Having lived many years in Hong Kong, I’ve become pretty particular about Chinese food. I think a lot of places here lean toward the Americanized version, and while there’s nothing wrong with that, it’s just not always what I’m craving. I tend to miss the depth and balance of flavors I was used to.
Last weekend my husband had a serious hankering for Chinese food, so we decided to try China Dragon, Gulf Shores.
When we walked in, Ren, Lin and Quay were so warm and hospitable. Although they were trying to learn English, they were able to communicate via google translate and it worked well.
And the food? So good. The portions easily lasted us two meals. The hot and sour soup honestly reminded me of what I used to have in Hong Kong. I asked if they could make our dishes more authentic, and they were happy to accomodate. Everything was flavorful without being overly salty.
Don’t let the 3.6 reviews stop you. If you’re looking for authentic Chinese food around here, this place is the one to go to!!
BTW Gong Xi Fa Cai Ren, Lin and Quay!!!“

“Area is always clean. Everyone is always nice and helpful. Food is good off the buffet or if you order a dish not on the buffet. I have an allergy to all beans and they are always accommodating and the food and vegetables are soooo good in curry sauce, white sauce or clear sauce. This rest has become our go to restaurant because of the fresh vegetables, egg drop soup and jasmine rice. The bomb.“
