“The food itself was absolutely delicious. The green sauce was probably the best I have ever had. The women serving the food were beautiful and very sweet. The only thing that I didn’t like was the portion size, although there was a lot of chicken on the quesadilla, they used a small tortilla, and it barely fills up the plate. The price was $11 for a single quesadilla and I think for that price you should get more.”

Among the best, most delicious meal we’ve ever had. The Tomato Salad is over the top delectable. Chris, our server, welcomed us to the restaurant and to Birmingham with informative, gracious service. “It is without a doubt, a great French bakery in Birmingham. The cream fillings, cherry filling / compote, the rich dark bold flavors of chocolate. You can taste the quality of ingredients and the skill that went into each dessert.

The flakiness of the crossaints, the crunch in every bite and to top it off,the burst of creme. With all the fillings, creams or fruit, you can still taste the butter.

There was a very long line as there should be. This location delivers as it promises! 🙌”

Bishop was amazing....staring woth the glass of celebratory champaign, picking a perfect wine pairing, explaining the dishes, great sense of humor....he helped make our experience fun and memorable. The food....OH. MY. GOODNESS!!! The food was amazing. Cooked to perfection! From the bread, Amuse Bouche, appetizer (great fried green tomatoes, by the way!!!) Intermezzo, main course (ribeye and braised rabbit), and dessert with coffee....every step was amazing! A truly wonderful sensual experience from all the aromas, flavors, and ambiance. “This place is a hidden gem in Pleasant Grove. 15-20 minutes from Birmingham and with the drive. The owner is so friendly and welcoming. The food is very fresh and delicious, you can tell there's a lot of love put into it. There are American choices for the less adventurous eaters and children's menu, also vegetarian options! My personal favorites are the falafel plate, Greek salad, tahini sauce, hummus and baklava. All homemade! Go try it, you won't be disappointed!”

I ordered the sandwich with a side of bacon grits and both were fantastic! I would highly recommend coming here if you visit Nashville. They were timely, prepared, and eager to help us in any capacity. They served everyone with a smile and pleasant attitude. Our event was a success because of the delicious food and excellent service. We are so glad to have found a partner in Gus's and look forward to having them at future events.”
