“First of all, this is a really cool place. I really love the vibe. Lots of cool merch, and then really good food too. The food was great, everyone was working hard to get you your food, and the atmosphere is really good too. Friendly. It is loud, but not in a bad way. The area is actually really nice and there's a nice parking lot right across from the restaurant. Downside: they are kinda slow. This looks like it should be fast food, but it's not. I came right after they opened, and there was maybe 5-6 people in front of me, and it took a good 20 minutes for them to take my order. About 10 to get the order. I don't know if that was bc they just opened up maybe? Wasn't a big deal. Other thing is: this isn't cheap. Most of the burgers and sandwiches are $15 or more. (There's a couple of items that are cheaper, but they aren't what I went for - I went for their burger). Comes with fries, but does not come with a drink. Drinks are all $4.99 and up. So, for a burger, fries, and some sort of fancy lemonade, it was right at $26. Pretty high. I really liked it though. I'll probably go again, and just get the sandwich and fries - because you can't find vegan stuff almost anywhere in Bham, and this is good stuff as long as you're not broke or in a big hurry.“

“I love Post Office Pies for two reasons, it's local, and it's good! I got the chicken pesto pizza, and it was delightful. The pesto was fresh, slightly sweet, and earthy. The chicken was juicy and savory. The two paired well with each other, and the crispy, freshly baked crust made for an unforgettable pizza. The service was fast and friendly. As far as I could tell, there weren't any COVID-19 precautions, but the establishment was clean and the menu options were affordable. The ambiance was a reflection of the uniqueness and character of Avondale. If you're from out of town and like pizza, I recommend stopping by.“

“Summary:10/10Breakdown:Food- I am vegetarian, date is not.I ordered fried green tomatoes (appetizer), Fries(side), vegan bbq with slaw. Date had wings (appetizer) with chicken tenders (meal) and fries (side).Slaw has a vinegar base so sweet with a kick and very crunchy. Absolutely fabulous and a wake up from the boring creamy slaws. Sandwich had a meaty texture and the sauce was the right combo of sweet and bitter if that makes sense with a hint of spice. Fries were really good with a crunchy shell and soft inner shell like absolutely perfect. Green tomatoes were on point, just the right of tang with a little crunch but not overpowering. Whatever corn salsa they put on top was absolutely perfect.Meat eater enjoyed wings (appetizer). Maple flavored sweet heat, very much enjoyed. Chicken fingers with same sauce because it was so very good.Drinks- 41st Street Tea (I think that's the name) was absolutely good with a hint of mint. The blackberry smoke was so good I ordered two to make sure I wasn't imagining how good it was. Great mixture of sweet and strong but had a sneaky kick definitely felt but it was so smooth it flowed right into the meal.Service- OUTSTANDING! Perfect atmosphere for an intimate meal with good choice conversation. Lexi (?) was FANTASTIC and went right into the perfect recommendations when asked. Absolutely loved the check ins, not too overbearing and always on time. Quick turnaround on food and drinks. “I have eaten here for years the food is delicious and it is an easy way to get a healthy meal quickly when you don't have time to cook! They have lots of choices if you want to look for something plant-based. The people that own and run this restaurant are extremely friendly and the service here is always great! I generally go for the takeout it's usually 15 to 20 minutes to pick up your food! I highly recommend it they have everything from basic Chinese Fare to a few of the more exotic Chinese dishes it's great food from great people!“

The runner brought my order, but I could not exit because they did not have that car pull up to await their delayed order. There was a line behind me. By the time I was able to exit the restaurant, my food was cold, and my shake was melted.“
