“Three of us went with high expectations Two were well satisfied with Grouper and Lobster meals, I had a rib eye steak that was so tough that I was unable to eat. The manager comped the meal quickly with an apology, Believe this was a rare occasion and appreciate the way it was handled.“

I think his name was Trenton, he was the best, and kept our drinks and extra sauces coming !! The food was great. Atmosphere was great, we really had a great time!!“

“We had an awesome time at The Hangout tonight!! Spent a few hours jamming to the band before and after. Our family had so much fun in the restaurant and the band was making us laugh all night. The line and wait time almost made us change our minds, but they really make it worth it. I’m really glad we decided to stay. Drinks were all around amazing. Our daughter loved every minute and the foam party was really fun. 10/10 highlight of our vacation so far!! Ava thank you for the fun, fast, and attentive service! And thank you Six Piece Suits for the fun music and making the outside atmosphere great. There is a little bit of a long wait to sit at a table, but they provide so much fun outside before you go in we even had to come back for more after we had dinner. Put this on your to do list when coming to the area. Food and drinks came out fast as well. 💛“

“nice staff.. great food.. plenty of seating activities there to do I highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich and the baked 1/2 chicken is excellent!! comes with zucchini and roasted red potatoes! a little pricey but I got it 2 different times it's worth every penny!! they cook the chicken and pork in a smoker and the flavor is really good!! my husband had the Greek salad loved it!! “This place is great! The menu is mexican and the food is really good. I had a chicken burrito 🌯 and it was huge. Their refried black beans had such a good flavor, that I ate them 1st. The service was good, tho I know we were there off season and I'm sure during tourist season it has to be crazy busy. You have to climb stairs, but they have an elevator for handicap, just call them so they can send it down.“

“Friends and I went for the Sunday morning brunch. The seating area has a very nice view. The brunch had an omelette made to order area with many add ins. There was a table with eggs, french toast sticks, fruit, bacon and sausage. There was a very nice variety Giant cinnamon rolls were delicious. The wait staff was attentive.“

“I really don’t know why this place only has 3 stars, it’s fantastic!!!! They have amazing food and the service is incredible! Everyone was so nice, from the host to the bartender. The ceaser salad was killer!!!! Prices not bad either, i don’t know what everyone else is talking about!! We got a shrimp basket ($22) which was huge, and a ceaser salad ($10). Highly recommend and will definitely be back!“

“Just ate a late lunch today and ordered the Fried Shrimp lunch plate w/slaw and steamed veggies. Absolutely delicious! Food was amazing and waitress was great! Husband’s fried fish plate was also great! Sweet potato fries appetizer was also a fantastic addition!! Highly recommend for a great meal that is reasonably priced!“

“Burgers were excellent. Cooked perfectly and has a char broiled taste. It's an older bar, nothing fancy. Service was pleasant and quick. Had love music. Couldn't understand the guy but good guitar player. I would go there again when visiting for a good burger.“

“My husband loves liver and onions. That’s a dish I don’t cook at home. We’ve been here for 15 years now and on a regular basis we go to Kitty’s Kafe’ for liver and onions. He particularly likes the green beans. We love the people and the atmosphere. One day I’ll take photos of our cat to add to their collection.“

“When in Gulf Shores we always make a couple trips to Lulu’s. I have a gluten allergy and they are always very good to me and the food is always good. I never have to worry about getting sick. I love the staff they are always very nice and accommodating and never make me feel different just supported. We have never had a bad experience and I look forward to it every trip. Thank you Lulu’s for always being so good to me.“

“Madelia was attentive and efficient, but accused me of not ordering the shrimp I had asked for (instead of saying, “Oh, I didn’t hear you” or “I’m sorry, I must’ve misunderstood”). Then, after she had left the check, we used the QR pay-by-phone option posted at our table. When we got up and left she chased us out of the store saying we hadn’t paid. I told her we had and walked back into the store so she could confirm.

The food was good. The atmosphere was good. And, except for making us feel like liars and criminals, I’m confident our server is competent and capable. I just wish our interaction hadn’t left a bad taste in our mouths….“

“Love this little spot overlooking the beach! The food is basically like a concession stand but if you have kids it will satisfy them while the adults grab a couple cold beverages. Great atmosphere for all! The kids can play connect 4 and tic tac toe while the adults chill.“
