“I’ve dined in and drove through, both have excellent, lightning fast service and the food is incredible.
Had a couple hiccups with quart sized takeout, but mentioned it to someone the next time I was there, and they called the general manager over and he made it right, and asked me to let him know right away if anything ever tastes off so he can check the rest of the batch. He also educated me about butter beans, apparently they get a little bitter during part of the season, which actually tells me it’s fresh!“
“Pleasant older property recently nicely refurbished. Friendly staff, very clean premises. Odd layout, elevators are at back of building so be prepared to walk a lot of hallways. No bathroom amenities, just dispensers; no daily maid service. Location is the key to this hotel; cannot be beat; close to everything and safe. Bistro dining concept is still just that and really does not work well. Save your money and go to one of the many local spots nearby. Nice pool area for relaxing. Overall a safe bet for Birmingham.“

“I've never done this before, but I'm not even going to mention the food in this survey, nothing wrong with it, it just doesnt hold a candle to the service we received! We ate there tonight and had Maddy D as our server and she was unlike any server I've ever had. I mean she was holding multiple trays and plates effortlessly while navigating the handheld scanner, while cracking jokes and making the whole table feel invited and welcomed. I have truly never seen someone so great at what they're doing, working their butt off but not at all letting you know how hard they're working. I would say she's the type of server everyone should strive to be like, but I dont think that level is achievable. If you are a business owner and want the most capable employee, come to soho social and ask for Maddy d. FIND ANY position in your company for her and she will nail it, she's that kind of person.“

“It would be wonderful to see the establishment open its doors once more. Perhaps the new management will bring innovative ideas and improvements to enhance the dining experience. A fresh perspective could revitalize the restaurant's atmosphere, attracting both new and returning patrons. Certainly hope the changes are well-received and contribute to its long-term success. I believe the community would welcome the opportunity to enjoy the food once again.“

“Stopped in for lunch with my toddler and sat outside. Staff was super friendly and welcoming, which was a nice start. Food-wise…it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but definitely not the worst either. I’d eat here again.
The kid’s corn dogs were a hit and my daughter devoured them. Fries were very salty (which I actually love), but a bit much for my toddler, so I kept those to myself. The egg rolls were just okay, like a 3/5. They needed a better dipping sauce…. not sure what exactly, but the ones that came with it were kinda blah.
Wings had good flavor, but they had that weird fridge taste… might’ve just been me. I took them home, tossed them in some hot BBQ sauce, hit them with the air fryer, and they turned out pretty tasty.
Sitting outside was fine, but a few patio fans would’ve helped with the heat. There were a lot of flies, but hey….. that’s just outdoor dining sometimes.
Oh and when it’s time to pay, you have to pay on their handheld device and it’s just annoying to me. It’s 2025, just give me a receipt with a QR Code to scan (with exception of paying cash).
Overall, chill spot. I’d come back.“
