“Service needs a bit help but the food is mind blowing and fresh…my family of 5 was passing thru for a quick lunch and was craving the zesty nachos, since they closed ours down closer to home. They did not disappoint at all!!! Can’t wait to pass back thru so we can grab another one!!“

“Gem of downtown Montgomery, AL. We made reservations for a Tuesday night which was smart. I had the teres major plate and my bf had the bone in ribeye and house fries. The ribeye was perfectly prepared at medium rare as ordered and the house fries were amazing. Very flavorful. The teres major came rare over mashed potatoes with asparagus. For dessert, we had the German chocolate donuts. Yeah, donuts at a fancy restaurant. They were fantastic!!!The service was great and the rustic atmosphere was perfect. I especially liked the gas lamps.Definitely will return!!“

“I ordered a burger with chili, cheese, slaw and onions....I was completely transported back to a teenager; it was so good. My husband ordered their regular burger fully dressed and he too was impressed with how good it was. Definitely worth the stop.“

“Wow!!! Driving thru Montgomery on the way home to Fairhope and already planning to stop again in 2 weeks!! Food was fantastic and our server, Katlynn is amazing!! When asking about the salad/sandwich split option she told me her 2 fav’s and they were sooooo good! See you guys soon!“

“Long wait times during lunch hours are guaranteed. Steak was delicious, but make sure to order one or two levels down, in terms of rareness (ie. I ordered my steak rare, but it came out close to medium). The sides are nothing to write home about, but the pricing of everything was reasonable and the servers were helpful and attentive.“

“Today (Saturday Feb 11, 2023) was my first time there. Since I didn't know what was good I asked the folks behind the counter to create my breakfast for me; it was a good decision because it was really good. There was one item that stood out above the rest though and that was the expresso muffin. Oh that thing was so good. They are open for Saturday but not Sunday and I recommend that you give them a try.“

“My boss brought me here for lunch, saying they have the best fried chicken in the Gump, and he was correct!Our waitress was nice, and the atmosphere was that of an old country restaurant.They are a meat and 3 with a rotating menu, but fried chicken is always an item. I wish I had taken a photo of the chicken.“

“One of my sister's favorite places. I love the amazing views, atmosphere and outstanding service. I also appreciate that the owner is present and very much hands on.While the food is excellent I really wish it included crab cakes, clams, and grilled or pan seared scallops as I'm not a fan of all the fried foods.“

“Purchased half ham 3-28-2024. Opened at home and honey glaze had broken down already. PhonedMgr. of Mtgy store and told him I wasn't satisfied. He and team corrected my issue and exchanged ham for one with a beautiful hard glaze.I suggest looking at that ham in car before leaving parking lot....since COVID19 we'll unable to view in store.“

“We were traveling through Alabama on our way to Florida and found this restaurant after checking for restaurants online. It had received good reviews. These reviews were spot on. Everything was fantastic from the moment we walked in and the hostess greeted us warmly. It was the first day of March Madness so we had to wait for about 15 minutes. The food was delicious!!! Our server, LaBridgette, was one of the best servers we have ever had!!! Thank you for making our trip from Wisconsin more enjoyable that day. Consider bringing Baumhower's to Wisconsin. It would be a hit!!!“

“If you're at maxwell afb,stop by maxwell club and have lunch there,where you will taste great food and meet friendly staff. Come out for wing night Wednesday's and enjoy meeting new and old friends in the bar and order great food off the menu.“

“I have never had such a good bar experience until now! Brooke (bartender) was extremely helpful and educated me on the drinks I was ordering, what I could order if I liked that one, and how to order them. I just graduated college, so I had no idea what “real” drinks I liked. She helped me on my journey! Brooke will be the reason I return.“

“A small locally owned restaurant that has been in the same spot since I was a kid. The name tells you that they have good chilli but the burgers are also good. Best chili I can think of in town. A little too clean to be called a dirty spoon diner but it certainly feels like a local secret and the ladies working there are just as sweet as the tea. I will be back to try some more of the menu“

“We came in on tonight and the food was amazing and the customer service was amazing! The manager tonight was amazing she chatted with us and she made us feel extremely comfortable she was amazing I believed her was Tee or V we will definitely be back and we will bring friends great service the workers were friendly as well please keep them they’re all amazing.“

“Clean on outside and around the building service fast the line be long but it moves pretty fast food fresh and hot I get lemon pepper wigs with hot sauce ?and The whiting fish when you order that you get a fresh and hot be sooo good worthy the wait?“

“Very eclectic selection of foods! Only had a garden salad, which was a huge portion. In addition to the normal salad veggies, this had green pepper, salad peppers, and dill pickle slices.One party member had the fish (2 generously sized pieces, but they said it tasted good to start with but before the 1st was gone, it was very fishy), one had shrimp fried rice, one veggie fried rice.We'd probably go again to sample other items, if we lived in the area.“
