Burger Restaurants near Irondale

“First and foremost let me say this wad the first time I have visited Hamburger Heaven and I knew nothing about the place except it was close to another place I was meeting some friends and I needed to grab a bite to eat. So my expectations were nonexistent going into the place.

The atmosphere was what one would expect from burger place where you were grabbing a quick meal to hold you over to dinner.

The dinning room was a serious no frill kind of place. Nothing wrong with that, it's just not the kind of place you would take a date to impress.

Now with THAT being said, I was extremely impressed with their food. The burger I had tasted very fresh and made exactly as I ordered. The bun was not soggy and none of the condiments were overwhelming but I got a great balance of flavors with each bite.

The fries were the old style crinkle cut and you could actually taste them. They were NOT the blan fries that most of the big chain places try to pass off on everyone claiming to be fries. Definitely NOT the golden arches!

As for the service. I give 5 Stars even though they couldn't accept credit cards at the time. Luckily I happened to have cash so it wasn't an issue but I don't normally carry more than a couple dollars on me.

The people working there were friendly and the dinning room was cool and the floor was clean. I didn't see any dirty tables and the trash can that I used was completely empty.

I am curious now if the other Hamburger Heaven in Birmingham are run as well as this one.

If you are ever in the area and feel like having a great burger and/or fries... this is your place.

Parking: The parking lot looks freshly sealed and fresh stripes so it's easy to see were and how to park.

The lot was easy to get in and out of too.

Wheelchair accessibility: It looked pretty easy to get in and out of. There was not automatic doors.“

“We love Marty’s GM SO much! We moved away from the area years ago but still try to plan our trips to Birmingham around a trip to Marty’s! We always get the Chicken Bacon Ranch Egg Rolls, Goat Popper Burger, and French Fries. And then depending on what they have in the frozen machine, a frozen margarita or a bushwacker. Everything is always perfectly cooked and delicious! Honestly , it’s wild how consistent the food has been over the years. Absolutely fantastic every time we go.“

“No bad for a Sunday. Could have been a little better on the time, noticed a little to much talking and playing around with customers waiting to be served both inside and the drive thru. But it was a laid back Sunday so I won't complain to much and besides the food was hot and good.“

“Out of all the Burger King I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with I must say the one here located in Irondale at 7757 Crestwood Blvd. has completely blown me away and will now be my new favorite. “We came to birmingham to children's south for a doctors visit and was looking for a place to eat . We pulled up our map to see food locations and found baha burgers . Hands down the best burger we have ever had . I had the baha burger and my wife had the baby burger both with onion rings . Please bring a baha to auburn AL , we definitely need a burger place like this and also best service also . Thank you for serving great burgers“

“Finally found as close to a Chicago dog as it gets in Bham. Wonderful flavor, all beef hotdog with pickles, tomato, sport peppers and mustard. The only thing it might have been missing is celery salt but I didn't miss it. The French fries were good, but the sweet potato waffle fries were amazing. Wife had a hamburger and it was excellent. They have local beers as well as other beverages. Will definitely be back.“
