“This was my dad's and my first time visiting a Lawler's BBQ location. We ran thru the drive thru after a day of gathering supplies, so can't comment on the interior of the place, but what we could see looked tidy. The menu was traditional bbq fair, at what seemed like reasonable prices. The young gentleman at the window was kind and professional, surprising for his age since most younger people can't even peep out a hello, let alone look directly at you. Wish we had gotten his name. He was kind and engaging and that was extremely appreciated. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich, half slab ribs and a banana pudding. Only took about 5 minutes to get our food, so pretty fast.
There was barely any sauce on the sandwich and dad said it was okay. The ribs had a horrible sauce on them, but after wiping it off the ribs themselves weren't bad at all. As difficult as they were to pry apart, they were more tender than I thought they would be. Dad said the pudding was just okay, nothing special.
All that said, I would be willing to try dining in and see what their other items are like. I was mostly impressed with the young man's service, and the prices seem decent enough in this day and age. Since we don't eat out often because of prices, quality and service, that says alot.
Overall, not a bad experience, but nothing to rave about yet, except for the service. Thank you young man!“

Service was quick and pleasant.

We opted for a Pulled pork plate with baked beans and potato salad; and a wing snack with vinegar slaw.

Pulled pork was moist and smoky. No sauce needed. Sides were excellent.

Wings were cooked nicely and I added a little of their mild BBQ sauce. Gave it a nice flavor. The vinegar slaw was a little dry and bland. Could have used some salt.

Overall good meal. No real complaints. Would go back.“

“Decided this morning we would try RICK'S BREAKFAST on wilson dam road. It was great. Everything was fresh and the fried bologna was on point!
Before we left, I called for the manager and I told him this was our 1st time having yalls breakfast and that it was great and I thanked him.
If we going to complain when somethings bad, we should also compliment when things are good.

“Came through the drive through for dinner and after getting in to sit down and eat I realized my meal was not right. I was over charged rather than up charged for the chicken stew as a side. I went in the next day to request a refund of the difference of my meal price. The employees that handled the issue were top notch on customer service. I was treated pleasantly and accordingly. The manager that handled the refund was sweet and went above and beyond what I was requesting. She took an unpleasant experience and gave me multiple reasons to want to be a repeat customer. Great job in helping the customer and I’m grateful to see customer service still exist! Thank you for being outside of today’s norms!“

The To-Go person named Devin was amazing, she made sure I got everything I needed in my bag and was very patient with me. Over the phone I didn’t know what I wanted ( because I don’t have a menu right in-front of me) I kept feeling embarrassed! She reassured me that it was okay that I just take all the time I need.
