“On our way back from Arab we stopped by Mawmaw's Diner for homemade country cooking. Lunch specials were meatloaf and 2 sides or bbq chicken with 2 sides. We ordered 1 of each plus 2 double cheeseburgers. Their double cheeseburgers are hand patted and huge. Those were for supper. We have them delivered to the table so they cool down and then we pack them up to go. Last night at 8:30 after hubs finished working on redoing the deck, I heated the two double cheeseburgers and they were delicious!!! Our lunch specials were tasty as always and we took our leftovers home. If you are in the Laceys Spring area, please stop by for good homemade food.”

“I don't about this places gas station services but as for their subs.... The Best! They don't go stingy on their subs at all! I love it when my husband brings me home a sub from here and it us piled high with toppings you guys are great keep it up and never hold back... “Service is good to great. Very friendly servers and management. I have ate there twice, both times with a large group and diverse menu selections. All the food looks great, the soup looks excellent and tastes good. The house salad is maybe a little underwhelming, but the dressing makes up for it. I had the cannelloni, which seemed a touch dry but still very good. I would say that the soft drink prices are a little high... $5 for a Diet Coke seems excessive. The atmosphere for an Italian restaurant seems a little subpar. Overall, great place. Will continue to frequent when i get on that side of town.”

“The food and drink were very good, though a little bit pricey for my tastes (which are frugal, I'll admit). I would say this is not a very friendly place to someone who may not know what coffee they would already like or are looking for somewhere quiet to relax. The ordering process was very hectic and made me feel quite rushed before I could look at what drinks and sandwiches they had to offer. Also, it was pretty loud! I went around 9:30am, so perhaps it was just a busy time.Parking: Parking is very limited, so consider using the drive-thru.”

“Wow.....this place takes the cake, actually it takes the strawberry pie, be sure you get some of that. Every time we eat here I don't think it can get any better. Today I had batter dipped fish plate, the wife had batter dipped Chicken strips, both were amazing. The hush puppies are second to none. I'm already planning what I'm eating the next trip.”

“First time here st Pappo's Pizzeria in Huntsville. Truly inviting atmosphere. Extensive variety of beer, traditional on tap, speciality and local breweries selections. I am recommending the Oyster City Hooter Brown as my choice. The menu is varied, high quality, and will appeal to anyone. Pappos's Pizzeria is now on my list of places to frequent when in Huntsville.”

“Ate at Huntsville South location yesterday. Food was delivered quickly, everything was hot and fresh. All of the staff were nice, especially Dee. Dee went out of her way to make sure we were happy with our meal, and she had a great attitude! Good Customer Service is hard to find these days, this location obviously doesn’t have that problem! “I was dog-sitting in OXR and needed a quick cup of coffee before I went to work. There haven’t been any options for coffee on this side of town so I was pleasantly surprised by this quick, convenient and very tasty coffee hutch! I will say $6 and some change for the equivalent of a tall latte at Starbucks was a little steep but I was in a pinch and it was fast and tasty.”

“I'm so lucky this place Is less than 2 miles from my house. I almost always order at home and pick up at the drive through. Staff is very friendly and the food is consistently good. My favorite is the catfish filets and the tartar sauce is outstanding!”

“When I come to this side of town I always make it a point to come here. Usually I just get sushi to-go which is always a fast & pleasant experience. Tonight I decided to sit, have a drink and read a little with dinner and it was a wonderful evening spent. Kendall was my waitress and was a total sweetheart. Everyone here is so delightful and the food is excellent. I recommend the Tokyo Mule, a perfectly light cocktail to pair with your sushi and the Paradise roll if you want something different to try.”

“Superb quality Mexican food. We have enjoyed all the entrees we have tried in our multiple visits since moving to the area only about 3 months ago. Quantity is typically more than we can eat. Side dishes compliment the entrees very well and are also very tasty. Service was excellent and tended to our needs quite well. They had plenty of staff to serve a very busy restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant, bordering on festive. We felt like we were experiencing a bit of old Mexico in this place. It is our "go to" Mexican restaurant in our area (and there are many to choose from).”

“Needed some ice cream for dessert and did a quick search of ice cream near me and viola, Handel’s! So many flavors to choose from I did the 4 flavor sampler and I was impressed! 4 scoops for $5.95, that’s a deal! The quality of the ice cream was some of the best I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot! LOL! If I lived nearby then this would be my go to ice cream place!”
