“1st time here today went with the ribs slaw hushpuppies and onion rings wow fall off the bone popping with a hint of spice in the beginning and savory on the back endWheelchair accessibility: Nice walk in ramp easy for wheelchair ♿️ access”
“I've had a few cups from here while visiting for work. Staff is always quick, and order comes out quickly. It is very similar to a local "brew" Starbucks.Like the area. It's definitely a place to stop if you are visiting.”
“I love Main Channel! Their beer is top notch, as is the company! The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. I had their Key Lime Pie Sour Ale, and it was amazing! Their patio is pet friendly and has a lake view. The inside has board games to keep everyone in the family happy. Food trucks are often on the lot and food can be brought in to enjoy while having a beer! I definitely highly recommend Main Channel Brewing!”
“Took my mom here for a treat a couple of weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed our visit! This little dairy bar has been open a long time. I wanna say it's been since the 50s, but I don't remember for sure. Super small little building in the center of New Hope; it's on the Main Street but still kind of easy to miss as it's just not super conspicuous. There are two metal picnic tables on the side of the building and one small table inside, so it's mostly grab and go. Very limited parking too, though the church across the street might not take offense if you parked there and walked over.Anyway, we walked in and were greeted by the friendly, hard-working employees. You'll find standard dairy bar offerings here: burgers, fries and onion rings, soft serve ice cream, etc. We both got a hamburger and fries and then split a small vanilla hot fudge sundae for our treat. Our food came out quickly but was freshly made -- I'd know, since I got to watch from the bar while we waited! The fries are frozen and then fried but they were at least fried fresh and salted correctly. They also have "Dot's sauce," their take on comeback/mayochup sauce, which was lightly peppery, a little sweet, and excellent with the fries. The burgers and sundaes are the shining stars here, though. Smallish and simple burgers but very fairly priced and a delicious beefy flavor. Simple storebought buns but it doesn't matter when the meat is so tasty. The sundae was smooth and creamy and delightful, with the perfect ratio of toppings. We had a lovely time soaking in the sunshine at one of the picnic tables.Certainly give them a try if you're in the area and craving a homemade burger. They do a brisk carryout business.”
“Hands down the best burger in Arab and really the surrounding areas. Fries and onion rings are homemade and extremely good. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Staff is extremely nice and makes you feel at home. If you are in the area, definitely make plans to stop here for food!”
“Absolutely a new favorite it’s like a more laidback country diner me and my family absolutely love it a close race to L rancho you got to try it and get the wings if your into em ??”
“They have the best jumbo cheeseburgers, jumbo pork sandwiches and best french fries in Arab. One large fry will feed two people and still have some leftover. Number one chicken sauce anywhere !!”
“I stopped by for the first time and have the grilled cheese and chilli. While the grill chess was just a typical Texas toast grilled cheese sandwich, the Chile was in point!!! I'll definitely be back to try something new next trip. The customer service was too nitch as well!!”
“First time here and can't say enough good things, staff was great and I will say best mexican food we have had since we moved here last May. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend it. Glad it's close to our new house.”
“Nice out of the way place to grab dinner in Arab. Super friendly staff and waitresses. Make sure to check out their desserts!! Clean, plenty of parking and truly nice people. From the conversations I heard, they help where they can for people who need it, which speaks VOLUMES in the food industry. #”
“I would most definitely bet that SNOW BIZ has the best flavored shaved ice than any other business of its kind in the state. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended! ✊?”
“My husband and I had a late lunch here, he got the steak sandwich and I had the Ahi Tuna Wontons as my meal - and we shared an order of cheese sticks and a slice of key lime pie. Everything was delish, service was great and a very fair price. I only got a picture of the tuna wontons, but they were amazing!!”
“If you know Julia’s in Guntersville, Sophia’s is the same! I’m so glad they added one in Arab that was closer to home. Food is great! If I could make one recommendation, turn off some of the recessed lights because it is super bright inside.”
“Definitely a great place to have a nice dinner! Very affordable and excellent tasting food. I had the tostados and jalapeños toreados (excellent flavor and taste) house made guacamole with horchata. I recommend this place for sure!”
“We had a pimento cheese grilled cheese and some potato salad, they were both Delicious. The staff was very friendly too. Definitely recommended and I will be back the next time I am in town.”
“Absolutely one of my favorite breakfast spots. Get there early bc they do run out of biscuits. The biscuits are not something you want to miss. The pancakes and omelettes and everything I have had there is amazing and feels like a home cooked meal. Definitely down home and super tasty.”
“Loaded taters, even with no meat are amazing!! Add the smash burger and dinner is served. These ladies are amazing and always so friendly at the drive thru window!!! Thank you ?”
“The staff was very friendly and willing to accommodate us as we sampled a few ice creams before selecting our flavor. We received very generous scoops and were blown away by how flavorful each ice cream was. It was well worth our money and we will definitely be coming back!”
“We went here because a picture of the food looked good. Weren't expecting much when we walked in, and my booth seat had a rip all down the vinyl. But then the food came and WOWZA! It was fantastic. Will definitely go back.”
“This is a new place. I would like to go back in a few months to see the difference in service and change my rating. The wait staff was very friendly, they seem to be in the early stages of operation!Waterfront dining! You can dine in, or out on the patio. The drinks were perfect! The food was ok. I can't wait to try here again once they're more established!”
“Grumpys is great! The service has always been top-notch, and the owner is happy and courteous! The food is fantastic in a homemade sort of way. We'll definitely be going back!Kid-friendliness: We had two babies with us who were upset, and everyone was very understanding.”
“I had a wonderful experience at this nutrition shop! Very friendly staff and the store looks so warm and welcoming! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a meal replacement shake or an energizing tea! Also, if you’re pressed for time you can call in your order and they’ll have your order waiting for you! Love love love!!!”
“If you don't want a small town, feel good experience with AMAZING FOOD, where God forbid you have to place your order at the counter, go elsewhere. Although if you do, you'll miss out on the best customer experience along with the best pizza in New Hope. There's a reason why G&G has been in business for over 20 years. Not only do they serve great food with untouchable customer service, they're a huge asset to our small community. Fantastic restaurant! Go get a pizza or a hoagie! You won't be disappointed.”
“After trying an over-priced omelet with nothing inside the omelet at the nearby Another Broken Egg (ABE) (@ City Harbir), we came to huddle House for better food, much better service and friendly staff...all for about half the price of ABE. The chef on Sunday mornings is especially good at making fluffy omelets and great biscuits!!”
“Lindsay, Jamie and Cheryl are such a hardworking team of servers together. They always greet me with such a kind smile and put so much effort into making sure I am taken care of Everytime I go in to eat. Dustin, Darla and Mango always cook my food so delicious and I enjoy it every time.”
“Yes, you should eat here! This place is worth the drive from wherever you are. We took a chance and drove from Cullman because we heard how good the pork chops were. We ended up getting two steaks, a fillet and a bone in ribeye. They were awesome! We are very picky about are steaks so for my wife and I to be overwhelmed with how good they were says a lot! The sides, salad, sweet potato, and Mexican potatoes were awesome also. We will definitely be making the drive again!”
“Wavered between a 3 and a 4 star rating, but settled on a 4, because it's good for what it is and I enjoyed myself. I found myself here for a late lunch yesterday after working nearby. I'd seen someone talking about how nostalgic they were for the chicken tenders from this place in an article I saw on Al.com or somewhere similar, so I thought I'd stop in to give them a try. Milner's fits in a category of restaurant that I've seen a solid few of but I don't really know what to call. It's like a Zaxby's x Dairy Queen fusion with a sprinkling of meat & three. They have tenders, burgers, sandwiches, plate lunches, and of course ice cream! There's ample parking. Both the interior and exterior of the restaurant show the place's age, but the floors, tables, and counters looked clean, and I spotted employees regularly coming out to wipe down tables and tidy up, which is really all I care about. You order at the counter here. Service was very patient and warm. It does look like they have a drive through, which I didn't notice at first. My food, once ordered, came out quickly, but not so quickly I had cause to believe it wasn't fresh. I ordered the three tender "snack," which is a meal format I associate with these types of places. Three moderately sized tenders, fries, a roll, and special/comeback sauce. It's plenty for a meal and with an added tea, quite affordable at only around $8.50. I do like my tenders a little bit crispier, but on the bright side these retained a good bit of juiciness and were void of any weird gristly or cartilaginous bits. I also really enjoyed the sauce. Typical mayo-ketchup comeback sauce, but sweet and creamy and with a healthy dose of pepper. The fries were of the frozen-fried crinkle cut variety but they were very hot, very crispy, and salted nicely and I enjoyed them. The roll is also storebought, but also fine. For a sub-$10 lunch, I was pretty happy. The only big drawback was the sweet tea, which I didn't like at all. It tasted almost like dishwater and was neither sweet enough or tea-y enough -- just low on flavor overall. I'll skip that and get a soft drink instead next time. Would return for a fast local lunch. Would also like to try the ice cream in the future.”
“This is my favorite go to Mexican restaurant. Everything on the menu I have ever tried is delicious. The staff is friendly. Great chips and salsa. Clean tidy place and the decor is bright and beautifulKid-friendliness: My child loves the beans and they have options for picky eaters as well”
“Amazing country restaurant!! Food is always fresh and everything I've had so far has been amazing. 5 stars across the board. Mawmaw you got something special here.”
“There's not much out this way, but this adorable mom&pop restaurant has great food, countryside customer service, and a homey atmosphere. Everyone who walks through the door either knows everyone or if they don't know you, they treat you like they've known you for years. You can feel that it's a family restaurant. The fish and chips were great, fresh and hot. Their white sauce on the fish was the perfect compliment to one another. The side salad was standard, but it came with house made ranch dressing. This little gem is worth the stop and even the drive.”
