My mother loves to eat at Chicken Salad Chick. She eats there multiple times a week. Her 75th birthday was approaching, and my sister and I were trying to decide somewhere we could take her to celebrate such a significant milestone. We quickly remembered how she loves to eat at your establishment, so we had an idea to take her there for lunch. We decided to surprise her by inviting several family members and close friends she had not seen for quite some time (mainly since COVID hit in 2020). Our list of invitees quickly grew to nearly 40 people. I put in a call to the Madison location and was able to get in touch with the manager Amy. I explained to her how we would like to have a birthday lunch for my mother but was afraid our invitee list was too large for such a request. Amy said not only was it okay, but she and the crew would do everything in their power to make my mother’s birthday very special, and they did! From the moment we arrived they were very attentive to our needs, whether it was moving a table or two to ensure we were all seated together, providing additional utensils for cake, or simply taking and delivering 10-20 orders to our tables. They never complained and always greeted us with smiles and heartfelt actions. They even provided a few Chicken Salad Chick swag items (koozie, notebook, etc.) in a small gift bag that my mom loved!! I am truly grateful for their positive attitudes and willingness to help make my mother’s day truly special. Words cannot express the amount of gratitude my sister and I have for everyone there, both the manager and all the employees. Everyone that helped make my mother’s day special should be made to feel special in return, as they truly deserve it. My family and I are lifelong Chicken Salad Chick customers and it’s not just due to the awesome chicken salad, but to the love we received from your staff that day. “Went this am on 2/3/2026, and let me tell you. The 3 ladies in there were So Professional, Courteous and Hospitable. While waiting for my 2 sandwiches, turkey sub and a chicken Khahunah, I was able to visibly see the cleanliness, attention to detail and making the Absolute Perfect sandwiches. I recently had the pleasure of visiting the newly opened Schlotzsky’s drive-thru location, and I have to say—it was an excellent experience from start to finish. As a fan of fresh, flavorful sandwiches, I was curious to see how this new spot would stack up, and I left thoroughly impressed.

I decided to keep things simple and ordered a medium Vegetable Delite. I appreciate that Schlotzsky’s makes a point of using quality ingredients. The bread was warm, fresh, and had that signature slightly chewy texture that makes every bite satisfying. It wasn’t overly heavy or dry—just the perfect vessel to hold the fresh ingredients inside.

The vegetables were just as noteworthy. Everything tasted crisp, cool, and freshly sliced. The tomatoes were juicy, the lettuce was crisp and not wilted, the onions added just the right amount of zing, and the cucumbers and bell peppers gave the sandwich a wonderful crunch. It was refreshing to find that nothing tasted pre-packaged or processed—it genuinely felt like care had gone into the preparation.

The sandwich was also well-balanced. Sometimes with veggie sandwiches, you can end up with too much bread or not enough flavor, but this wasn’t the case at all. Even though it was a relatively quick stop, it’s one I’ll remember and definitely repeat. It’s not always easy to find a fast food option that’s both quick and healthy, but Schlotzsky’s is definitely delivering on that promise with this new location. Whether you’re looking for a lunch on the go or a casual dinner option, this drive-thru makes it incredibly easy to get something tasty and fresh without having to leave your car.

“This subway is freaky fast and the workers engage with you like your family. The line was out the door and I was the last person in line. I looked down to check the time on my phone and the next thing I know I was eating my sub. They were beyond friendly and professional. I just wish the location wasn't so remote. “We ordered two trays online (1 toasted and 1 cold) thinking that “toasted” would be warm/steamed like in the restaurant. When I picked them up, the bread was toasted and then put in the cooler. When I explained what I had wanted, David was more than willing to accommodate me but told me I’d have to wait about 15 minutes. I totally understood that, but he insisted on giving me a gift card to make up for my wait. Cameron set about remaking the tray of subs using steamed meat and cheese! David and Cameron are two of the best!!! They kept apologizing about how long I had to wait. They were so quick to correct the order!“
